Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Valencia's form in last month or so isn't great at all. And I am expecting your answer in Nani's thread.

On the Sunday Supplement last week one of the journos (an older bloke who's friendly with Fergie, from memory) said Fergie had been extremely disappointed in Nani in the City game. The way he said it suggested he'd gotten it from Fergie, though he might just have been bullshitting.

If true then that's harsh, he should be more annoyed at himself for the team he chose, didn't give rooney/nani a chance.

Drop our best player from our last game?

Aye, that's obvious.

Remind me, how well did Nani play the last time he started?

How well did anyone play against City that day? He was excellent in the previous 2 games, and he's a much better player than Young.

Not started as bright as I thought we would tbh.

fecking hell I shat myself when that score update came up on skysports!

Score update popped up on the screen there and my initial reaction was, "oh feck"

Slow start, will be a frustrating afternoon it seems.

Depending on the score from City at HT, I'd be inclined to throw every striker on!

Bull shit most likely. Managers don't chit chat with journos. When the post game press conference is over the journos leave and the managers leave. There's no extra "off the record" discussions or anything like that.

If he was asked a question about Nani his reaction might hint that or it could also have been a reaction to the particular question or journalist.

If the journalists know something that is off the record which they get from manager or staff or players they won't have a friendly relationship for long.
