What's there record at home thus far in the league?

I reckon this will be quite tough, their fans will be up for it. The club will probably hand out free scarves etc.

Watched part of the Liverpool game today, and Swansea were good. Dyer did well against Enrique, and it looks like Sinclair well be fully fit for the game.

Also, their keeper is fantastic! Made a couple of really good saves to save the point for Swansea

I reckon if we play like we did in the 2nd half we'll win the game. Steady at the back against a less cautious side like Swansea will give us space up front to counter.

Long wait, especially after having 2 a week for a while now.
Wont be easy getting through 2 weeks without the footy fix

This will be a cracking game. We'l have to be on song to beat this swansea side at home tbh. something close to our best should be enough.

Carrick, Anderson and Cleverley should all be back. I'd like to see the Carrick-Cleverley pairing.

Team should be....

GK: De Gea

RB: Jones
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Nani
CM: Cleverley
CM: Carrick
LM: Young

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Fabio, Evans, Anderson, Fletcher, Berbatov, Hernandez

Look at that team

Will be a tough game I suspect

this could be tricky than what people thinking, the draw at anfield will have given them a huge boost. :nervous:

Smalling, Young, Giggs, Carrick, Gibson, Cleverley and Anderson should all be back.

Uninterrupted football for a few months after this break. Time to step it up

This team, hopefully all will be fit..

GE is right, I don't think this will be easy. I just want us to go 4-4-2 with Nani and Valencia. Rooney and Hernandez upto, with Anderson and Cleverley in the middle.

They've only conceeded 1 at home in the League haven't they?

Will be a tough game.

No game for two weeks could be just what we need. We've done the job in recent weeks and got the points on the board but it's a chance to hit reset and go again. If everyone's fit, I hope SAF picks the following:

de Gea

Jones
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Cleverley
Anderson
Young

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: Lindegaard, Rafael, Smalling, Carrick, Valencia, Berbatov, Hernandez.

I am just happy we have not pulled a Chelsea (considering what happened to them last season) after the City result. I am happy with the results but not exactly with the way the team has performed over the last month. Plus we have some injured people who need to recover. So I guess this is the first time I am actually happy there is an international break. Hopefully afterwards the team will sort itself out.

De Gea

Jones-----------Vidic-------------Rio-------------Evra

Carrick---------------Cleverley

Valencia-----------Rooney------------Nani

Hernandez/Welbeck

Young and Anderson to come off the bench for this game.

I would use one of Pogba/ Morrison in midfield, we need fresh ideas in midfield.

Don't be silly.

Carrick is back fit, Fletcher is getting better and Cleverley will be back.

Too early to name a squad with those stupid Internationals coming up.

However I will count down the days until club football returns

Euro aways are rarely easy.

I'm going to go for 1-0.

Looking forward to this game, never been to Swansea.

Tough game IMHO If we win I'll be happy.

I'm looking forward to the game because Swansea are playing with real freedom and excitement. I wouldn't be excited about visiting Swansea itself though!

This will be tough, as a few people have already said. They're well organised and can keep the ball for long periods against most teams it seems. For me, this is a game where we'll need a good deal of creativity and flair to unlock them. For that reason I'd probably pick Berbatov, Nani, Young, Carrick, Cleverley if they're all fit:

de Gea
Jones Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Nani Rooney Young
Berbatov

Lindegaard; Evans; Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs; Welbeck, Hernández

Reckon Welbeck or Hernández would start though and I can still see Fletcher starting. I'd like to see Giggs back on the bench to come on if need be. Obviously happy with a 0-1 win given their current Home record, but I want us to lay down a marker and win by a few goals which I'm sure we will if we're at it. Despite them being a newly promoted side, a 0-3+ win there would let everyone know we're back. Hopefully this international break makes us come back to the form we were on before the last international break...

Swansea are unbeaten at home this season and are generally VERY good at the Liberty Stadium. The atmosphere the Swans fans generate is fantastic too, they don't stop singing home (and away come to think of it.)

We need to match their 4-3-3 or they will pass the ball around us for fun.

I'm going to this game as I only live a 20 minute walk from the stadium, can't wait.

Unbeaten, as previously said, but here are their results:

0-0 vs Wigan
0-0 vs Sunderland
3-0 vs West Brom
2-0 vs Stoke
3-1 vs Bolton

so that's 5 of the bottom half faced at home. Nobody of our class yet so their unbeaten record at home shouldn't be anything to fear.

Hopefully we come back and get into the swing of things, our football in the last few weeks has ranged from patchy to dire with the very rare moments of excitement. Swansea won't make life easy either.

No more Rooney in midfield please...that experiment has had it's time and now needs to stop!

Against a Swansea side who are very tough to play at home this is not a good idea. They have a good record of keeping a clean sheet there. We need a bit more experience for this game. I'd like to see a Carrick-Clev partnership personally.

Tricky game this, Swansea are a very good passing team. Need to play alot better than we have been doing if we want to win the game.
