Its repetitive . Also the catch phrase:' No Senpai, this is our fight' after every fight scene :annoyed::wenger::lol:

Try a couple of ep's and see if u like it

Ya will do.. My greatest fear is i'll just finish it because I started it..

Saw 7 deadly sins last month and followed that up by Mushibugyo.. Didn't like them after the first few episodes but still finished those..

I watched Porco Rosso last week. What a lovely film it was.

Yes!! Hoping for season 2 before 2018 :p

Also if u haven't read the manga. Check out the special chapter which wasn't animated. Where Sonic meets Puri-Puri-Prisoner in prison.
Ah yeah have read some of the manga, got to like chapter 36 or 37, was really enjoying it but when the anime came out I just switched to that.

@Gol123 loved that film, really beautiful.

I can see why a lot of people are put off from this anime at first: overpowered main character guy wins a fight with one punch every episode. But it's much more than that, and if one accepts it's not your typical shounen anime, with some crazy long, drawn out story-line, I think they will love it.

I really enjoy seeing Saitama's journey, his friends, and moving through the ranks etc. Dig the comedy too. Also, I'm sure there are bound to be much more tougher up and coming foes. It's a 9/10 anime for me.

Anyone seen Hitman Reborn?
It's ok I guess. The start is really slow because it was a gag manga at first, but it gets better later on (mostly with the introduction of Chrome, can't remember the exact episode number). Over 200+ episodes though, so it'll be a massive undertaking, and not everything finds it very rewarding. Start it only if you've nothing better to watch.

Finished One Punch Man. Have yet to decide if it was shit, awesome, crazy, or all of that.

Have you seen One Piece mate?

Its not finished.
No, I meant as in till the current arc/ episode - Luffy vs Doflamingo for the anime, and Zou arc for the manga.

Up to date on the manga, stopped after the timeskip on the anime.

Nah.

I am a noob when it comes to animes. Have watched only Death Note, Attack on the Titan, One Punch Man, DragonBall/DragonBall Z, Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher and probably another one or two as a kid, Only the first three I mentioned as adult.

Anyway, I decided that One Punch Man was crazy brilliant.

Ah, alright. One Piece might not be worth getting into now then. 700+ episodes, and almost 800 chapters in; and we're a bit over the halfway mark according to the writer (maybe closer to 2/3rd). Wouldn't be surprised if the finale comes about by the time I'm almost 40.

I thought about watching it, but a very big commitment, and knowing myself, it means that I would need 1 month or so to watch it while not doing anything else.

Yeah I've not followed any new manga/anime recently but I still check one piece new chapter every week.
Same. I lost interest in Bleach and Naruto ended. Plus, the newer shonen don't hold a candle to One Piece.

You should definitely get into it. Its by far and away the best shonen manga/anime out there and also has a great amount of lore and world building compared to other anime.

I know that.

The problem is that I get easily addicted to things I like. If I start watching it, I would need to say goodbye to everything else for some time.

My self-control button is quite in-existent to entertainment things I like.

Just watch it. feck having a life.

About to start DBZ Kai again after a long break, around episode 70. Feel like I'm the only person who hasn't seen DBZ hehe.

Let us know how Hajime No Ippo is, @Revan, I've never watched a sports anime.

Already watched 10 episodes

It isn't Death Note (at least, not so far), but it is very good until now. And I have a feeling that it is even going to improve.

Ippo anime is nice but it's all about the manga. The boxing isn't just limited to national championships, they will be challenging the world, albeit with imaginary world champions.

Kimura is a beast.

Edit: of course I meant Takamura. Beast.

Hajime No Ippo is really long. There are over 1000 chapters in the manga.

Death Note is pretty good. Not long enough though for me.

Death Note is only good up until that happens. :(

Only around 70 episodes in the anime though.

I guess they will have extra episodes because the manga is still going.

Edit: Apparently there have been two other seasons released (in 2009 and 2014), so there are 127 episodes combined. I am pretty sure that I will finish it within this month though.
