Leeds win coming back from 1-0 down and go 3 points clear off the top, as Norwich draw against Sheffield United. Villa, Blackburn, Nottingham and Preston win as well.

Ben Pearson was by far the best player in the pitch tonight, dropping deep to build up play, making tackles breaking things up.
Was lucky to only get a yellow mind, but even so a very very impressive performance again.

Sheffield United win in the end and go 2nd for some hours. Boro win as well. They are 4th now. Bristol City beat Swansea and are level on points with Derby in the 6th place. Nottingham lose, while only a draw for Aston Villa. Great comeback for Brentford against Blackburn. 5-2 FT. Hull-Stoke 2-0, Millwall-Rotherham 0-0 and Wigan-Q.P.R. 2-1. Leeds-Norwich now for the first place.
3-1 Norwich FT.

Norwich making Leeds look quite average. Leeds are a good team and play some lovely stuff at times but Norwich look a level above going by this game. They are keeping possession well, pressing at the right times and their organisation is superb.

Come on Norwich and Sheff Utd for automatic promotion.

Brentford 2-0 down after 7 minutes and won 5-2, playing some sublime football especially in the second half...

Yep, a league fit to be a top-flight division in most countries outside the top 10 leagues in Europe. In fact I’ve said it before, the Championship is probably one of the top 10 European leagues.

My favorite league, Championship is the real football.

If you've spent most of your life watching live football at League 1 and 2 level (with the odd trip to OT to enjoy) the Championship is un utter joy to behold!

Something very wrong with Mings

Mings is a horrid cnut. I am delighted every time I hear he gets a serious injury. He's a thug who could kill someone the way he goes on.

I don't think it should be a question of matches but a question of months. That injury is fecking horrific and he has previous for it too. The last time he did it against Ibra he was given a 5 match ban and luckily there wasn't much damage, this time the consequences are there for all to see. I really don't know how he is going to play both of these off as accidents either after this second incident.

The whole reason players are given these lengthy bans is to reflect on their actions, he seemingly hasn't done this.

The cnut again claims it wasn't intentional. Even if it wasn't (it was), throw the book at him. Only got a 5 game ban last time.

I only saw the incident at real time yesterday (you simply don't get slow mo close up replays for 99% championship games) and just thought Reading player stooped to head and Mings kicked him when trying to clear the ball. Not nice for Reading player of course but you get that sort of incident every game.

Stumbling afterwards I'm not sure where he could've put his foot with Oliveria lying right there so do think it's different to Zlatan incident.

Mings has to bring his right foot down because his left leg is caught and probably has a square metre or so to bring it down somewhere. He can either avoid the head or, in the very unlikely scenario he cannot, then at the very minimum land with a lot less force. But he basically strides off Oliveria's face - look where his left leg lands after - because he doesn't want to lose his footing and his position. No defending that I'm afraid, should be a lengthy ban.

Gutted for Sheff United. Been working there a while now and have a real soft spot for them. Hope they kick on and get promotion.

Great finish, but for 75 minutes Villa were absolutely awful. Sheffield Utd must be kicking themselves.

Fantastic comeback! 35yo Glenn Whelan gave them some extra energy when he came on.

But how is Sheffields second goal allowed? Keeper has both hands on it when Sharp kicks it??

I was at the game so haven't seen a proper replay but I was surprised at any point Sharp wasn't offside. I was behind the goal and his movement certainly impacted on Kalinic parrying the shot unless he timed the run.

We certainly got very lucky but that's football. Sheffield United go under the radar but they were knocking the ball around like Leeds. Wholly British squad so they go under the radar a fair bit and certainly aren't hoofball. Hope they get automatics ahead of Leeds or Norwich as they could do alright in the premier league.

Agreed, I feel like they don't get enough credit. Top football club I hope they get promotion and cement themselves as a premiership side.
