For All The Wand Fans......

Arlovski's contract never got renewed, UFC probably made a mistake there but I dont know the terms, maybe he was offered one but didnt agree on the terms?

Iceman is still one of the top fighters, but a new fighter bursting onto the scene can't be a bad thing? For Chuck its all about how well he bounces back from defeat, again.

I'm so looking forward to tonight, possibly the best ever fight card for an event.

does anybody know where i can download a copy of the lesnar vs coture fight...

my mate wants o see it...

i dont mind paying to download but i cant find it o the ufc vault

that's more or less where i'd sit, too. i'll only call out the top 3 fights, as i don't every fighter in the other bouts.

Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans - i really can't call this, but Evans seems to be knocking out everyone he faces at the moment so i'll go with Rashad, but could go either way.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir - Mir to win by KO/TKO

Wanderlei Silva vs. Quinton Jackson - another tough one to call. this'll be fight of the night i reckon.

You're picking Mir who has no striking ability to KO BigNog who's never been knocked out????

Mir by TKO? Have you ever seen BigNog fight?

If Mir stands with BigNog he is likely going to get knocked out. Don't let Tim Sylvia fool you, BigNog has boxing skills to go with his granite chin.

I would say Nogs BJJ slightly edges Mirs but they are close enough that I can see them negating each other.

Striking, BigNog is miles ahead of Mir, I would be completely shocked if Mir tried to fight BigNog standing. Mir is a ground guy moreover he is a ground guy with weak take downs.

BigNog easily takes the striking department.
BigNog easily takes the take down department.
BigNog edges the submission game.

Way I see this fight going is BigNog keeps it standing where Mir will be a fish out of water. BigNog is the superior boxer, Mir is not known for his take downs and besides both guys prefer to be on their back.

BigNog wins by KO or decision after primarily a standup fight.

money in the bank, fellas.

:D

great night so far. still can't really call Forrest - Rashad. here we go!

*** isn't the same anymore. He needs to retire. He has taken too many beatings.

Good call though, you either got lucky or you figured the damage he has taken in the past was catching up to him.

Minotauro over Mir was the only fight I thought was a sure thing.

Forrest got lazy and complacent but up until he threw that lazy kick he was dominating Rashad.

Wandy hasn't been the same since Crocop mauled him so I actually kind of expect that.

If Machida ever gets a shot at Rashad he is going to make him look stupid.

Anybody else excited for tonight's UFC?????

That was fantastic!

I was delighted for Mir and Evans. I'm not sure why nobody seems to like Evans. Mir has done brilliantly to come back so well. A lot have written him off, including myself. He was amazing tonight.

Joe Stevenson Vs Diego Sanchez Headlines Ufc 95

UFC president Dana White, at the UFC 92 post-fight press conference on Saturday night, confirmed a previously rumored lightweight bout between Joe "Daddy" Stevenson and new 155-pounder Diego Sanchez for UFC 95 in London, England.

According to White, the fight will serve as the main event when the promotion returns to the O2 Arena.

Kiss my arse Dana - thats the last ticket I buy for UFC.

thanks. no, i didn't get lucky (although i did with the Rashad call at the bookies, cuz i wasn't sure on that, at all), i just look at the last 3 fights, and the styles (and age) of each fighter.

that's why i called out a 7 round tko for Paquio vs De La Hoya, and that's why i called out Mir to win ko/tko. both predictions i got abuse for!

after the Pac fight i got loads of PMs saying i should've put something on the fight. so this time i put a hefty chunk on Mir, Rampage, and Evans...

the Mir tko alone is gonna be paying for my car insurance this year!

yep, i know. it's not a passionate call, but i'm gonna say tko stoppage.

it's a hunch, and if i don't go with it, and then it happens, i'd be kicking myself.

Mir is just so pumped up for this fight it's scary, i think he's gonna win. but ***'s BJJ is so good that i can't imagine him tapping.

Great call. Gotta give you the credit you deserve on that one!

BASTARD BASTARD BASTARD feckING BASTARD...

Right about now i wish one of the fights on the bill was me vs dana...

It'll probably cost them a fortune when nobody buy ufc 95 on ppv in America? Maybe that will teach them to have a half decent card.

ufc 95 isnt ppv in the states... apparently its going to be free to air as the tv company wont commit the budget that early in the year (they have to pay extra for european fights and they fall in the middle of the day)

cheers, mate. it was a great night i thought.

it was interesting how for the first round of Griffin - Evans, Evans was slightly complacent and Forrest controlled the round. and then in the second round, when Forrest was complacent, Evans battered him unconscious in the blink of an eye...

it was interesting to see each fighter's reaction to being in control, and how much more immediate and devastating Evan's reaction was.

i think an Evans - Rampage fight will happen next year, and i very much look foward to it.

i really hope Forrest and Wanderlei will fight too.

No wonder they don't give a feck so. The Dublin card is slightly better but not at the standard as the PPVs in America.
