Film The Movies I want to see thread

True Story trailer looks good!

I agree, I'm now really looking forward to this.

It's surprising to see Hill and Franco play such serious roles, but I think they will pull it off (at least from the preview anyway).

It's based on a really mad true story. I heard about it on a podcast. Probably contains spoilers.

What We Do in the Shadows

Almost a perfect movie for my taste, I absolutely loved it. Brilliant. Not sure how to write a review about it as I'm pretty shit at all that, so I'll just give it a score of 9/10

Wrong thread mate.

Same here. I just hope they don't ruin it with the too many cameos they're lining up, especially from irrelevant celebrities who nobody gives a shit about. They also need to return Ari's balls. That final season was just painful to watch.

Im just going into the movie with an open mind and hopefully enjoy it for what it is, Plus it can't be any worse then the final 2 seasons were.

Saw trailers for Most Violent Year and American Sniper tonight.

First time in ages I've thought I wanna go to the cinema, both look potentially awesome.

Anyone seen 'the gambler' yet? Looks quite good on the trailer but the last Wahlberg film I was hyped for (Pain and Gain) left me massively disappointed.

That True Story looks good.....and from the trailer looks like it should be a acting baity film at the worst....then i see it's got an April release. Which is odd, oh well Franco and Hill have proved their acting chops enough, so I'll put it down to not really wanting to run the awards season with it.

Fincher is remaking Strangers on a Train....written by Gillian Flynn.

Erm...

So this is Ryan Gosling's director debut.

And so far everyone seem to think it's shite(1 star levels of shite) and make as much sense as Nicolas Winding Refn being directed by David Lynch on crack. But with all that in mind I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tiny bit excited.

I am a massive sucker for this type of stuff(I thought 'Only God Forgives' was ok ish).
Although my main excitement for the film is the soundtrack which was done by Johnny Jewel and it's sounding.....
So yeah it's mostly likely going to be shit but look very pretty(and sound very nice).

I still need to see Interstellar. When will there be a decent copy available online?

Birdman, which release date was 1 week after Interstellar, had the bluray rip uploaded yesterday. So im hoping guessing its gonna be out soon. Can't wait to report the shit out of it.

I can't wait to see Avengers: Age of Ultron, but admittedly I'm a massive Marvel fan. There's usually some good horror movies which'll come out around October which I'll end up seeing...
