The Mueller Report

CNN reporting congress will get their info in 30-45 minutes

It would be wise not to expect too much from a cleansed report. Time may give us the grimy details but it’s most unlikely those will be delivered today.
Yeah probably the case. The full report needs to be released eventually no matter what, or at least hold a public hearing with Mueller

I guess that means that because he cannot be subject to a criminal trial, they cannot declare him guilty.

But they also cannot declare him innocent.

Stop putting it out line by line on Twitter like a website desperate for traffic and just upload the letter in full.

Edit - give me a chance @Raoul ffs
See you in four pages.

This doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm assuming that's by design ;)

I'd of thought he could commit a crime even if that wasn't able to be prosecuted (due to the DoJ guidelines).

Very strange. 2 years and we get a 'erm, maybe'.

To quote: "The Special Counsel's investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 Presidential Elections."

I guess that's that then.

It totally lets him off the hook. Rosenstein and Barr also confirm that the evidence does not warrant obstruction.

Oh wellz. Good times.

Re-reading the obstruction paragraph, it says because the President did not commit a crime with regards to Russian interference, it is therefore impossible to get a conviction of obstruction.

I don't agree with that at all but obviously some very clever lawyers do, so ho hum.

Bugger. To the 2020 thread!

Trump just got re-elected in 2020.

He will be polling at 51%+ this week.

Not enough to prosecute, not enough to exonerate.

I wonder if the Dems will knuckle down now and try to win 2020 by actually focusing on their own platform, as opposed to just moaning about Trump. Probably not.

Looking like four more years of Trump.

Surely the indictments prove that to be bullshit?

I believe none of the indictments of Trump campaign folks were directly related to Russian interference. In any case the report more or less says Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice in some cases but leaves the ball in court of DoJ.

Nobody associated with the campaign coordinated with Russia? We already know that's bollocks based on the indictments against Cohen and Stone.
