I think it's more difficult than people think. Just finished Katie Porter's new book and you basically have to have a fortune to run for office so these people come into office already wealthy. My guess is that most of them get far richer based on their stock portfolio increasing.

I follow lots of US politicians on Twitter and I can honestly say that the vast majority of Republicans just spend their entire time attacking the entire Biden family,, Democrats, gays, drag queens, trans folk and just about every story they can find about immigration, abortion, high fuel prices, interest rates, inflation, the national debt etc....
They absolutely NEVER post anything positive and they never post about what they are doing to help their constituents or country.
MtG also seems to be spending all her time in various different inquests and never actually doing any work. It's fecking batshit they continue to get away with it all the time.
