We won't be in the CL next year because of this team IMO. I can't see us catching them. Newcastle and Southampton has killed us.
They've had an excellent season and i hope they win the league but i remember Newcastle beating them also. They've only lost one game this season... and that was us on the opening day. They're a very good side.

Spurs have lost 3 matches. Leicester have only lost 2.
We'll have to do very well to finish above either of these.
With that said, I can't see Spurs or Leicester doing as well in their last 10 games. I think fatigue/pressure/expectation might catch up to them in that final stretch.
We are five behind Arsenal too and will be playing them both. We can absolutely catch both teams.
You probably heard that they lost 1 away game all season, which was the game against us.The radio lied to me![]()
Spurs have conceded fewer than 20 goals in their opening 24 games for the first time in their top-flight history (81 seasons).
The transformation in our defence has been remarkable under Pochettino so far, and achieved without playing a defensive game. The two key changes IMO have been bringing in Alderweireld to partner his Belgian national teammate Vertonghen, and deploying Dier as a DM.

They will overtake Man City to go 2nd if they beat Watford at home this afternoon.
How the hell did this happen?
If they can keep their key players fit then yes they have a great chance. The EL might hinder them in the latter stages as Pochettino has played a strong team in that competition so far and that might catch up with them in the business end of the season, especially if they continue with that policy as you would expect them to brush away most sides in the competition.
But if Kane was to get injured, they would be in big trouble, not only is he their only main goalscorer but the back-up is not very good. They didn't manage to sign Dembele and N'Jie doesn't look like a proven goalscorer who will bang them in if Kane gets injured.
Also if one of their CB were to get injured, they would have to play Wimmer who hasn't had much football thus far and could struggle but apart from that they do have decent strength in depth especially at full back and the attacking positions with Walker, Trippier, Rose, Davies and then Ali, Chadli, Lamela, Son, f Dembele, Eriksen and a few of the kids who are making an impact.
I guess so. I'd say that if Leicester are then Spurs are considering Spurs have a better squad than them in my opinion.Second in the table, then. Are Spurs now serious title contenders?
So can they do it? They've got some pretty tough fixtures remaining:
Swansea H
West Ham A
Arsenal H
Villa A
Bournemouth H
Liverpool A
Man Utd H
Stoke A
West Brom H
Chelsea A
Southampton H
Newcastle A
Spurs will throw the Europa league out of the window now, they've not been in the position in decades. I can't see a fixture there that will daunt them there, maybe Chelsea away.
I can see Newcastle, Brom, Bournemouth and specially Villa giving them big shocks
I disagree, hubris gets to EVERY manager. Poch will think he can do both and will think it below himself to think otherwise. Rinse and repeat.
Poch won't do it cos he's not an idiot. It has nothing to do with hubris.
Arsenal and Man City won't be playing skeleton teams in Europe and neither should we.
Sensible rotation should be the order of the day of course but throwing away the Europa is silly.
We might not need to throw it anyway, Fiorentina are a good enough team to knock us out.
always rated him, he's like the new Rio, reads the game very well and never rushes into tackles.
I hope the injury to Vertonghen isn't going to effect them much.

With the money in the league these days teams won't have to sell. They will all be playing CL football which nobody is going to leave after having this season. Perhaps next year they will falter and then maybe move, but nobody is leaving this summer unless stupid Fees are paid.I think I'd rather them winning the league than Leicester tbh. Spurs could use it to kick on and stay at the top for years while Leicester would struggle to maintain a top 4 place next year (imo). That said, Leicester winning the league would be better for us for exactly that reason.
