The Spurs thread

How does it feel to know that in your best ever season in Premier League era you still finish behind Leicester City? At least when we had great seasons we were winning stuff.

You seem proud of your ability hurl personal abuse. But I'm not surprised that you prefer this to discussing football, given the disaster of United's decline. Enjoy the Mourinho circus next season and your trips to god knows where in the Europa League - it's your level these days.

As I said, I really like Spurs and would rather them win the title if United don't than any one of Chelsea or Arsenal, for instance.

But you've actually managed to make Spurs crumbling under the pressure in the weakest Premier League for 15 years into an enjoyable experience for a neutral, through the sheer arrogance and the level of delusion in your posts.

Congratulations. On that, not the title, which you've not won.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Utd, City all below Spurs, still dont win it. Mental

I'd reserve that term for Chelski, who sit 22 points below Spurs.

Spurs were an absolute disgrace tonight

2 nailed on red cards but for the ludicrous leniency of Clattenberg

At least Dembele will get a 3 match ban, though I'd ban him for more given the sickening nature of his foul attack on Costa

C'mon Glaston, you're very familiar with the destinations in the EL. No need for this petulance towards rest of Europe after one good season in god knows how many years.

Who cares about losing the PL title to Leceister.

Spurs are building a new stadium and may have a vested interest in a NFL franchise, that's the real title right there.

Jesus.......

Yep because that's what he meant by the word 'performance' - position in the league. Why are you the way you are?

Performance over the season - Chelski deserve to be where they are: barely in the top half of the table.

I'd have thought that rather than criticising Spurs for only finishing at least 3rd, and maybe 2nd, you'd be more concerned with United's decline. But I guess that's the way you are - wishing to focus on anything that deflects your attention from the deeply inferior state of United's squad, despite hundreds of millions net spend more than Spurs.

 no sympathy for these cnuts.

One decent season and suddenly their the best club on the planet according to their fans. Feck off.

:lol::lol::lol:

I've enjoyed watching them and they've played some fantastic football but it was hilarious how they decided to start just booting the ever loving shit out of their opponents at the end.

I think they took the 'injury' time quite literally.
Agree, they have been easier on the eye than most this season, but tonight was shocking. Reminded me a lot of the Arsenal meltdowns (Winterburn, Keown, Parlour ...etc) when things didn't go for them.

Should you not be more concerned with Spurs winning feck all than United being shite?

Benitez and Newcastle will be having a Jolly when they meet, will they have anyone left? The club secretary's inbox will be busy in the morning I imagine.

United will probably win the FA cup making it a better season than anything Spurs has done in 2 decades

Glaston, I think you might've not been watching the game. You've just lost the title. Sorry to inform you.

*Shreeves voice* that means you'll not be Champions of England this season, do you understand me?

Sure. But at least we were in the title race to begin with, whilst United have been scrapping like dogs for an EL place. It's your level these days.

Commiserations to our Spurs supporters on the Caf. At least you still have Poch, and a chance to have another go with a young team. Continue in this way, and you can expect good things.

Ironic that their title charge ended in typically Spurs fashion 2-0 up and fecked it up

Just seen this after posting my polite message. Thanks Glaston!

Those Champions League games at WHL seemed special a few seasons ago, but they always seemed knackered after them.

Will CL football next season lead to a poorer points tally next?

Oh Glaston

latest

Ah, you don't seem to be moved at all. I guess that winning feck all all these years makes you pretty indifferent to bottling your only shout at the title you've had and will have for next couple of years, cute.

Glaston

First reaction to his team bottling the league is to log onto a Man United website and have a go at a team who could very well have a more successful season than anything Spurs have managed since the early 90s.

Delicious.

Ah yes, it's definitely better to have been in the title race than not at all. After your one season of pushing for the title I'm sure you can refresh United fans' memories of what it's like to be in a title race. When you're all grown up we'll tell you about what it's like to actually win a title.

Oh we certainly will but just remember that you have bottled the best opportunity you're ever going to have of being champions again, this was it for you and Leicester beat you to it. Enjoy the new stadium, the first round phase of the CL but this bottle job will always bug you because you ain't never coming this close again.

You don't seem to be moved by United's decline to EL level and the crap state of your squad. Is it resignation, or just head-in-the sand time?

He meant today's game, I will make that a little easier for you.

And you trying to deflect discussion to United  If we somehow sneak into top 4 and win FA Cup we will have had a better season than you, and this is your best ever PL season. Our decline is pretty close to your best season ever.

It must be hurting though. United's decline or not,you blew it.

Yes you have a brand new stadium ,but Leicester have the title. In one night they have won half as many league as Spurs have in their entire history. And that means it's still Spurs 2 titles,Arsenal 2 titles won at white Hart lane.

United have been poor. Very, yet could still end up with a trophy this season. it's not as good as a new stadium, but it'll do for now.

And Spurs' level is what? Fighting for titles because you've done it once?

Glaston's meltdown here is actually on par with Spurs players meltdown today, every single post about United's decline  this is amazing!!
