So that's 90m with Rooney or 75m without Rooney as was previously quoted.
We probably added £15m more so that they would also take Rooney.
This could shape up to be mourinhos most powerful team ever. Bailly, Fellaini, Matic, Lukaku, Perisic, Pogba could all feasibly be in the same 11 this season. We haven't ever been much good at set plays, wonder will that change

I'd be more thinking, 75M + Rooney + 5M addons = 90M IF the price quoted is accurate.

I may be wrong, but isn't Januzaj on his last year of current contract? He's on quite expensive wage for an unproven young players. If we don't sell, we may end up keeping him then loaning him & got nothing while paying his wage. Even if starting to perform on his next loan, he may decide to leave for free next summer. Best would be getting him sold & adding clause that may benefit us in the long run while saving the wage & have some cash.

I saw restaurant owners hang picture of themselves with celebrities in the restaurant all the time (at times, even giving discount, offer free meals to celebrities to get "associated"). A McDonald, Rooney professional footballer, one of the most famous player in the country & the world. The chance to get on some news on for this McDonald & boost sale. Last time I check, Madrid didn't offer to take Rooney off our hand... And for all we know, the fee quoted by Madrid may be higher than being reported. It may be our bid and Real Madrid want us rinsed. Who knows?
