Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I don't think its too much of a coincidence that the points won stat is ordered the way their respective teams finished in the league. (apart from Kane and Aguero because they are positioned alphabetically)

I think the price difference from these sources stem from United and Everton briefing different things. United briefed a whole host of sources yesterday that the fee was £75m, while Everton are quoting £90m+Rooney for free (who is supposedly rated at £10m) so £100m altogether. I think the transfer fee in reality may be £75m up front +£15m in add ons +Rooney on a free transfer.

I doubt Rooney will cost anything. We'll probably have to supplement his wages if he does leave.

Naby #Keita and Emil #Forsberg are not for sale this summer, however both have €57m release clauses next summer. (Kicker)

Know it's from last week but i just saw it and found it very interesting (can't remember it being posted). Mourinho would love Forsberg imo but of course Keita is the main man of interest. Steal!

We should defintely get Keita next year if he's available. He'd provide perfect competition for Pogba and Herrera.

The bottom stat is what worries me.

I trust Jose Mourinho's judgement over that of some stat stacking sad case with no life , this is just some 12 year old with nothing better to do who has probably never watched 90 minutes of live football. Don't worry about this kind of thing.

He scores goals and lots of them- with better players around him i think he will be even better.

This seems like it might be far from the done deal many thought it was yesterday.

Presumably Jose wants him to join the tour asap, it starts on Sunday so I imagine we're going to want to wrap this up quickly.

This is a stupid tweet, if the fee has been agreed surely that gives permission to do a medical, so that only leads me to believe the fee hasn't been agreed at all.

The Verratti saga continues as his agents calls the player "the emir's prisoner".

They'll find a lot of ways to move the goalposts in the coming weeks, just like with Morata, who should have signed weeks ago according to these so-called "journalists".

It could very well be true (there are a sparsity of options after all), but it seems easy lazy journalism to just link Chelsea to the 2 strikers we've been linked to all summer now that we're seemingly on the verge of signing Chelsea's striker target.
