Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Won't post the Tweet because I don't know how reliable Don balon is as a source. But aparently Bale has told modric that he is going to United.

We must be quite confident that we have a RB coming in then.

Excellent move for Fosu-Mensah. Glad he went to Palace rather than Watford. Thought Jose's close relationship with Marco Silva might have led to him going there. Think he'll do great under de Boer regardless of which position he plays. Also think it's very unlikely we would let him go on loan without being confident of having a rb coming. Aurier's case is today, I imagine we are very confident of him winning it to agree to this move before the official verdict. If Aurier doesn't win it we must also have a backup in mind. I don't buy that we'd be content with just Darmian as backup for both fb positions

Says Mourinho assured TFM he has future at Man United and he sees him as a long term successor for Valencia but needs to get more discipline.

Liverpool would be daft to sell him this late in the window with no way of replacing him. That said I'd love it if he went, on his day he's a very good player, anything that weakens our rivals strengthens us.

Yeah that's what I think regarding him. Could be amazing but has very little positional discipline. Hoping he gets a good season out in Palace and comes back a better player.

The problem with this is there's an assumption Barca will wait for him. There's plenty of other options out there, some of whom are even better than Coutinho. Barca may not be as keen to sign Coutinho and/or deal with Liverpool later on. That's obviously good for Liverpool but we don't know what Coutinho's genuine ambitions are.

I have to say it's good to see him being respectful to his current club unlike Sterling etc.

Not surprised, can't remember what team we were playing in FA Cup but when TFM came on as a sub, he made 2 or 3 rash tackles (one especially rash) and I think most of us would agree with the requiring slightly more discipline.

As for long term future and Aurier, lets see how that one pans out first.

Nobody is meeting his clause if they haven't agreed with him.

Yeah seems a weird point of view for Barcelona to take.
