Harrison got sick and died a month after inauguration, and he's pretty much a joke. Trump would probably be seen as a martyr by his base, but the rest of the world would see the irony in his downfall being a crisis he did little to fix and some to exacerbate.

I mean, imagine if he dies from a virus almost immediately after publicly mocking his Democratic opponent for wearing a mask all the time.

His mishandling and intentional downplaying of Covid-19 has had a hand in over 200,000 American deaths... for comparison, that’s about the casualty total attributed to the actions of Slobodan Milosevic.

And exactly 4 years after he mocked his previous opponent for having viral Pneumoni.
 
If he recovers from this, there's a significant chance he'll have ongoing issues, as many people have reported. He's not a healthy man, whatever those medical reports say. He's fat, elderly and eats virtually nothing but junk food if reports are to be believed.

I wonder if he'll ever rue the day he put himself forward for the Presidency?
 
I'm looking at that team of consultants and wondering how many people would have survived if they'd had the same kind of care.

Not sure if this is indicative at all of other Republicans but several folks i spoke with at work who were on the fence before and I consider more moderate indicated that along with the debate shitshow and then this news angered them/pisses them off beyond doubt that they can no longer in good conscience vote for the guy.

The combination of Trump saying in the debate everyone and himself have been fine knowing first that Herman Cain died after attending the rally he bragged about, and now this - think it finally hit home they feel betrayed. And thats just re Covid. Def plenty of comments too about how they hated his debate performance.
A little late to come to that conclusion I guess - but Ill take it.

Having said that - Im still sceptical about al this news. Something else is def going on. How can you not think that with the way news surrounding the guy has been used time and time again to so something screwy elsewhere. So many all testing positive at once to start seems unlikely but then what do I know I guess.

The doctors seemed pretty relaxed to me. I think he'll be ok.
 
He's fine, nice political distraction from his tax returns and debates, he'll return and use it as "most fittest President ever" and everybody will forget what happened previously and move onto the next shiney distraction he does.
