Barca fans are just pleased they're being linked with an actual centre back for once, rather than someone they can shoehorn into the position.
They probably judging him without the 'often injured' label.

As funny as this is, unfortunately I don't get the hate for Sakho. Although he looks clumsy I actually think he's decent on the ball for a centre back (apart from falling after he kicks it!), and he had a pretty solid world cup defensively. Lovren was one of the best defenders in the league last season for me, so they could make a good partnership together - not the best, but good enough for sure.
Don't forget, Gerrard has all the qualities to be a fantastic centre-half as he ages. They won't need Kolo

Not at all. Quite a few here were hoping we'd sign him before he moved to Roma. It has little to do with his Dutch connection and more to do with the fact that he's a very good player.
The 80mil bit is just nonsense though. Roma know that too.
Can't be true? Only about 65k p/w and he is probably the best young midfielder of his generation at the moment... we could easily double those wages. Well at least he isn't going to Chelsea.
I remember the threads here very well before he signed for Roma. I think you can look at the thread from that time if you want. A lot of people were not sure of him and didn't really rate him and were happy he went to Roma.
I hope they checked with Real Madrid over what price the buyout clause should be set to for next summer.
Absolutely. Agger is one of my favourite players, but his decline under Rodgers has been big. I think Agger could reignite his career with the right move. Seems mad that just two years ago we were being offered £20m each for him and Skrtel.

It's because their manager threw in a line about only considering "three digit" offers, and some bright journalistic thing took that to mean a hundred euros.
I find that a bit racist, if that pic is correct, it does say something along the lines of DiMaria being 'yaqrab' (close) to MUFC.

After he's signed a contract with United he will go on holiday to Madrid is what I know.
It's the most obvious next move for him as I don't see him at Barca and I doubt he fancies the French league.

They're squad is going to be so unbalanced, far to many signings, the majority of which are 'meh' at best.
Not one of those Liverpool signings is going to make a top team nervous about facing them this season.
Lovren is a good signing. Improves their weakest area but they arguably need another center back if they're shipping off Agger.
Its about the system with them and whether Rodgers can get these players to perform similarly as a unit. Even last season, bar Suarez, they had no "individual" that'd make a top team nervous.
Of course, however, in previous seasons they have had that player every team feared, whether it be Suarez or Torres before him.
