Madrid don't give a feck, they just throw money at clubs until their bid gets accepted.
His still just a promising youngster, can't see him developing while Madrid keep buying every flavor of the month.Well they have Jese currently.
Well they have Jese currently.
Without doubt the biggest club in the world. They might go OTT but at least they spend money on improving the squad.
We haven't had many recently either, and that's without going out and buying superstars.

It will be difficult for him to get a continuous run of game time with Rodriguez joining, but it would be stupidity to let him go. Not like that would effect Madrid, they'll just buy him back if he realises his potential elsewhere. His still just a promising youngster, can't see him developing while Madrid keep buying every flavor of the month.
Nope, but it will now after what they've spent on Bale and Rodriguez, as well as Ronaldo's presence of course.Who is a phenomenal talent, it wasn't a hard choice to play him from an early age

If you compare our squads it's ridiculous how far behind we are of the European elite.
Potentially a blessing in disguise for them, as he returns when the games come thick and fast. Granted, he will probably leave though. He is injured right now, but he'll end up leaving in the next year or so i reckon.
So do PSG, tbf.
Plenty more than Madrid. Januzaj last season for example.
And we have bought stars as well. Or players capable of reaching that stature.
They haven't had the Glazers sucking money from them for the last decade. Also, they get unfair advantage with TV money in Spain.
We should be seeking to emulate Bayern in terms of signings/on pitch strategy. Not Madrid anyway. They are just silly.
Actually, if you see our trophy count for money spent last 10 years we are ahead of them and in a more competitive league in that period with more money in it.
Who else apart from Januzaj?Plenty more than Madrid. Januzaj last season for example.

Wow 1 player? Madrid also had Jesse and Marotta in the first team, so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say Januzaj. We haven't had a lot of talent coming through the academy at all.

I know who we've brought through, but cleverley isn't good enough for us and the jury is still out on welbeck. That's my point.Morata has been sold to Juve, unless you missed it.
And in terms of academy players Welbeck, Cleverley, Evans, Fletcher all count amongst others. We are not talking about the talent coming through but playing them in the first team.
Cleverley, Welbeck ? Surely it's not that hard.

Madrid are beast. Biggest in the world.

Cleverley ffs.

You said we haven't had any from the academy in our first team which has been proven untrue. Cleverley played as a starter in title winning teams and Welbeck has played a crucial squad role as well. So has Evans. That's not even going back further back.
Whether you think they are good enough or not, is besides the initial point anyway.
Yeah of course it doesn't mean they're bad players, but that wasn't my point either. That's hardly the point; all those players have the potential to go to another PL team or another league abroad and do very well - just because the bar at United is exceptionally high doesn't mean they are bad players.
There is a definite progression from the Academy to the first team, even if it's only for a few limited appearances. Not every player can be a Januzaj!
Yeah of course it doesn't mean they're bad players, but that wasn't my point either.
It shouldn't be besides the point though. Real should not be criticised for not bringing players of the standard of Cleverley through the ranks, neither should we deserve special praise for doing so. He does not belong at either club, so it's a silly point to celebrate the fact that we play him every week.
Jese has come through and done well, and Carvajal started a CL final. They have had others get a chance and prove not to be good enough over the years too, so they leave. We keep ours out of tradition.
5 million i think. What is the reported fee?
5 million i think.
Seriously ? I'd be very surprised if Benfica paid us anything near that.
5 million i think.
Why? He had a good season last year in the Portuguese league
Because he's a year left on his contract and is taking a wage cut to join in the first place. They're not gonna splash out £5m on Bebe because of one good season at Pacos.
Euros or Pounds?5 million i think.
