Ok Bale is sure a galactico. Benzema is not good enough and Kroos and James not established enough.
I always thought that Rooney will go at some point to Real as a galactito signing. Don't see it anymore.
Most people rate ribery and robben over bale. People even rate neymar and suarez over him (even though they are different players to bale). As good as kroos is I don't think he would ever be considered a galactico" and his style of play doesn't suit the tag very much either. He is a 90 minute player (the kind of player we need), not a flashy player. As for james, lets see. Right now he is not a galactico, just one of the better and more promising young players around at the moment. I don't know if I like the term "galactico" much but I know what it means and I think it is used too often these days. People use that term for every Madrid player now even if they are not one of the best players around. I would say Bayern and barca have more "galacticos" than Madrid atm tbh.

You can bet Beckham has been approached numerous times since his retirement to come back and work for Manchester United in some capacity, he's still massively marketable. He probably has so much else going for him elsewhere to commit to the club.

Definitely. As an ambassador for the club he would also considerably increase our pull for prospective signings just like Zidane has for Madrid before. I'd love us to find a role for him at the club.

I never saw galactico just as the best player but also the most marketable. Beckham was not even close to be the best player in his position when he went to Real and he was one of the most known galacticos.
Is there a queue of players lining up to take a pic with Becks? Ander, de Gea and Mata have all had their picture taken in the exact same spot
