UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Why do coaches not rate Sane? Both Pep and Löw seem to prefer others quite often, but everytime I see either City or Germany,Sane is a fecking menace.

Is he a cnut or something?

I can't quite remember but an article I read suggested that 'they don't trust' him or something. Bit precious about injuries, in adversity, possibly a bit BillyBigTime although it didn't say that as such. That kind of ballpark, anyway.

Come now, we all know that an average childs football team has more bottle than a Tottenham team. It's pretty easy to predict when they fall to pieces. Just like it was piss simple to predict the other day that Tottenham would bottle it against Liverpool. They're a good team Tottenham, but when the chips are down and shit really matters they fall apart. My guess is they'll keep the score to 0-0 then when the pressure is really on late in the game they'll stumble and feck up losing the tie. They always fall apart when it looks like they're on the cusp of doing something substantial.

It's difficult to argue any of this after the Anfield fiasco

Give me goals galore, a few red cards & a fist fight.

Everything crossed, 2-1 city on the night, we go through on the away goal. COYS.

You know for a fact with the scores tied at 1-1 sissokho will one on one somehow balloon it backwards clean through for sterling who will scuff a shot at lloris that ends up squirming in...

Hope Spurs beat City (concentrate on League, removes chance of Quad)

If Porto can perform a miracle it would be most welcome.

Regarding Liverpool, I think people are going out of their way to underrate how mediocre their midfield is (is that correct grammar)?

I don't see how anyone can have them as slight favorites against Barcelona (if they make it through against Porto). And one day I'll fully understand the phrase "they can be got at"
Because barcelona haven't gotten out of second gear in months. And barcelona playing in second gear will be overrun by Liverpool. Flipping the switch isn't am easy thing to do, history proves that

Hope not.

City getting through tonight increases their quad hopes ten fold.

Sounds good to me. Bit like a 70s/early 80s match.

Seeing Porto and Spurs through would be the icing on the cake, if only to get rid of the nightmare there could be a 'Liverpool double ' or a 'City quadruple'. nothing personal. Seasons bad enough as it is...

When will the players and Pep realise that this pathetic club just doesn’t deserve them? Boo’ing the anthem of the competition their players, staff and sugar daddy’s want to win most.

That's quite the understatement, considering them not going through reduces their chance to zero

Only ever see two UCL refs, this guy and the ref from our game last night. There is no other refs on the roster and their air miles are lit...

If Spurs win, Liverpool are going to win the CL and Premier League double aren’t they?

Spurs and Barca won’t beat Liverpool. Maybe Ajax can?

I’m torn here.

Hope City lose this, to concentrate them on the league, while obviously removing any chance of a quadruple!
