Hows Ronaldo been so far, apart from the shot off target?

He looks ok but not much has come off for him

He done a couple of his showboating tricks though:drool:

Could we impovrished soles without sky or radio get watchers or listners of the match to post about it in the chat room, its much quicker then the match day thread.

is it just me or do u guys feel the same. that the lads dont pass ball to kleberson :(

Poor half from United, Wolves should be level at least.

Hopefully we'll up the tempo in the second half.

missing a holding midfielder in there. First time Klebs and Eric have played together though. We're deffinately not gettin the service up front. Maybe Scholes to come on for Forlan, add a bit of strength in MF, put Ronnie on the right, Ole on the left?

I'd like to see Scholes and Giggs come on. They could easily be 2-1 up.

We're definitely missing Scholesy and Keano in the middle. We need more quick passing, and less of the long balls.

Score should have been 2-1 Wolves. They missed two clear 1-1 chances against Howard. Good teams would put them on frame.

yeah, they had 2 close chance but put it wide

Forlan is running the show

Yeah, I think Diego's been one of our better players.

I'm not a Forlan basher but he had two shots that Ruud, Scholes, or Ole would have put on target at least.

Come on. Maybe the first one he should got on target but the other one you can´t blame him on.

I´d say he´s our best player in the first half.

Our passing game is a bit shaky, but don't forget, we're playing 3 new'ish players (gaz coming back from injury) John and Keane CB and Phil on LB, Klebs first game, it will be shaky as hell. It's all over the place, shape wise. It's a bit frustrating, but hopefully the boss will put some shape back in the 2nd half.

When ronnie has had time on the ball, he has pulled off some good football, he's been puched over a few times without the ref giving anything. He hasn't seen too much of the ball though.

Tim hasn't had to make any saves, there but for the grace of Blake not being up to the final touch really. Anyone else would have punished us.

It's OK, we're holding it, and should see some more movement of the ball in the 2nd half.

Ruud 2 mins into the 2nd half with a flick on by Ole ;)

Forlan's been great. He's put in a number of good balls, and of course it was his corner John headed in.

It's obvious Gary has been missing; he's playing well in his own way, but he's not linking up well, especially with his new teammates.

Keane and O'Shea look very good for players out of their natural positions. John looks much better at CB than he did in the preseason.

The central midfielders have played pretty solidly, but Kleberson's been very quiet. Djemba has done well going forward and making attacking-minded passes, but he's not done a lot of either.

Ronaldo looks like he's trying way too hard to live up to his own hype. It's obvious he wants to try to beat every defender on his own and score a fantastic goal. He didn't do that against Newcastle and he needs to stop doing it now.

He's been fouled at least three times, two of which should have led to freekicks in dangerous areas, but neither of those two were called.

With a weakened back four I'm a bit surprised that Fergie also opted for an untested midfield.

Diego, Sheasy and Howard can be happy with their respective performances so far. Keane has been decent though he must take fewer risks as a CB.

Our midfield has been crap so far. Djemba and Kleber seems lost in a no mans land between our defense and our attack. We are letting Wolves have most of the ball and them being such a poor team it's a terrible sign. Bring on Scholes.

Ronaldo has had a mixed performance. A few good dribbles but it's also obvious that he still has a lot to learn.

I can barely hear what's going on from the radio but I think Wolves are about to score.

This just shows how much we need Giggsy and Scholes! So much for the 10-0 predictions

Well they are both on now - Giggs for ronaldo, Scholes for Kleberson. Think we will get another goal or 2 as Wolves tire in the last 10 mins.
