Why Butt? Phil's started every game this season and is doing a damn fine job too.

This is going to be a bloody tough game imo. Birmingham are a fine side.

Because we need to get Butt some match practice sooner rather than later and IMO the rest of our team should be strong enough to take on Birmingham.

Fortune, Phil or Butt can take that place and won't make too much difference to the side. What's important is that I hope Giggs & Ronaldo sticks to the flanks a little more than in Germany. :smirk:

Good point but considering the short time to rest between the two matches after a physical away game (two days) is hard for keano in his present condition , so taking precaution to prevent any likely further injuries is a must methinks :p :angel:

We have to win this game well after the german crap. I have a feeling though that it could be one of those games and we draw. Anyway I would like Fergie to start Ronaldo on the right and scholes behind ruud and giggs on the left, and not that silly rotation he did in germany!!. Also at the moment I would plat fortune instead of phil neville.

If Rio is injured then gary, silvestre and Oshea with fortune at left-back.
 
With Rio a doubt and this being a big game and I think that Fletcher and
and Butt should start just to freshen things up.
