Ruud with a great hold and turn, puts it through to Diego who hits it into the side net. Not a great angle for a shot, but he might have done better.

I have nothing against Forlan...just calling the match as I see it. At least he didn't scuff his header this time like in the Celtic match. I think he's a solid player, but not a starter for United. A backup.

He's had a mixed game. Definitely improved after the first half hour. Some good touches, runs and passes but also some poor passes and eevn though the chances were 50-50 that's what United are supposed to be good at.

As has Bellion. Bellion set his standards high after scoring so i think its a bit harsh to say he hasnt had a good game. Shown goiod pace at times and looked dangerous.
 
Bellion did well in a tough match in which few have really stood out.

Nasty collision in the box. CA player going for header and Rio goes in with leg high. Rio catches CA player in the ribs. No card and a foul called on CA player.

Goal by Forlan while CA reduced to 10 men. Lopez GK to I think Giggs or Butt who head to Forlan who finishes brilliantly. Play took maybe 6 seconds.
 
Ricardo caught in possession, but he deals with it in Barthez-like style and get s it clear.

feck. We fall asleep and they score. Lynch was lost on that one and Ricardo came out and stopped without going for the ball, allowing the striker to chip it in. Poor all around.
