Lynch caught a bit there.
Shouldnt of conceded that. 3-1.

Agreed, they've been abysmal.

After the first 20-30 minutes, he looked great in the attack. A great headed goal and a great tough finish, with the former being the match winner. What more do you want?
And what did O'Shea do to warrant it? Not saying he was bad, he was very good in fact, but not outstanding.

hows the match going though...who has most of the possesion? are we passing, defending well?

We played well. Had about 10 good chances to score, 5-6 were a quality ones that should have gone in. We kept good possesion, had a great play in the midfield and we were very dangerous on the counter attack. We couldn't play the standard english build-up football do the the fouls that were commmited in the midlefield by CA.
I like the fact that we never panicked and the defenders were always calm and knew what they were doing. Forlan had about 5 chances that looked good, but he converted only two. He is under microscope right now, so he feels the presure. The fact that he had 5-6 chances means that he was involved in the game and can position himself well for oportunities like those. He needs to work on his finishing touches, but that comes from experience. He needs to learn to remain calm when he is one on one with the goalkeeper. Veron, Scholes, and Giggs will be the backbone of our team next season feeding Ruud great balls, and hopefully make him the golden boot of Europe.
I personaly liked what I saw from Butt today. He had some good tackles, passes and shot. Rio also shined.

Butt looks like getting back to his World Cup form. I am happy to see that even without our traditional hard players Gary and Keano, we can put up quite a fight with Fortune, Butt, Rio (surprisingly physical in these two matches), Phil, Ruud, and even Seba ()

veron played well, but if your pessimistic he was playing against south/central american opposition

But Bellion did link up well with Ruud (except for getting in Ruud's way once), Seba, and others and he did so against Celtic as well, working especially well with Scholesy.

Oops, Ole came on for Ruud for the last 12 minutes or so. Forgot about that one.
