Shameless Musketeer
Crazy, the amount of marketing and sponsorship deals United have entered in the last 4 years.

You'd never make it as a scouser, Sunny.... all those boycotts & e-petitions that you'd miss out on!
So the new five-year deal with Chevrolet replaces the previous eight-year long agreement with Audi. I haven't seen any figures in terms of annual value but it's been described as a ''significant increase'' on what we were receiving from zee Germans.
I just find the notion of posting on a football forum about the increase in revenue from a new deal which sees Chevrolet replace Audi as the sponsors of our substitutes seats, well, strange. Why would you bother?
What was the annual value of the Audi deal?

That makes you the strange man.
I'm quite happy to remain strange if that's the case.
An extra million pounds of revenue per year, it's nothing in the grand scheme of things, nothing news. GCHQ has a curious agenda with this sort of stuff, and I find it strange.

What did you expect to find when you clicked on a thread called "United Commercial Partnership Revenue"?

I don't see it as strange at all. The growth in commercial revenues is absolutely fundamental to the club's future in terms of gaining a competitive advantage over other clubs and sustaining a strong playing squad. I know stories like these upset the anti-Glazer fanatics, who like to pretend that our American owners have brought nothing positive to Manchester United, but that's half the fun of reporting and commenting on them.![]()
this.
Why on Earth are you in here if you didn't want to read about United's Commercial Partnership Revenue
Strange.

I'm not commenting on the thread, I'm commenting on GCHQ's seemingly unhealthy interest in our finances.
He's posting an update on a commercial partnership in the commercial partnership thread, I seriously don't understand your problem. If you don't want to read about this kind of stuff, simply don't open the thread.
It doesn't matter if the new deal is only a slight increase over the old one, it's a new deal and this is the thread where those deals are highlights and/or discussed.
but that's half the fun of reporting and commenting on them.![]()
Anything Glazer-related and GCHQ's all over that shit cheerleading and proselytising on behalf of our dear leaders. He has an obsession with them.
If he was an employee I could maybe understand it, but he's maintained in the past he isn't.

Cheerleading?I was simply reporting the news and would have left it at that if someone hadn't ridiculously claimed that I was a strange man for reporting a new commercial partnership for Manchester United in this forum's commercial partnership revenue thread.

Not the posts on this page specifically. Your other posts, GCHQ.
You know, the ones that invariably refer to the Glazers' good works?
