Aye, another season of Moyes and I probably would have been the first human to die of boredom.

Yep, whatever happens with this appointment, we can't really point fingers and say 'the club should have gotten such and such'.
There's nobody better out of who's available.
"Van Gaal was one of the most important coaches I have had, I love his character and the way he says what he thinks," he told gathered reporters at the press conference.
"Some people do not like it but if you work hard then you get a chance. He would bring a lot to Manchester United football club."

OptaJohan: Number. Blah Blah Blah. Infuriatingly pretentious single word statement at the end that has no real relevance to what has been said.
Liverpool are the little robot that says "Happy Birthday Paulie".
"I've got a watch......I'VE GOT 2 WATCHES!!!"I'd say liverpool were just Paulie. Annoying little thing that demands attention but just ends up pissing everyone off and getting laughed at.
What could possibly be the reason for delaying the announcement? Its baffling
That sounds like City to meI'd say liverpool were just Paulie. Annoying little thing that demands attention but just ends up pissing everyone off and getting laughed at.
Does that make Liverpool, Apollo Creed?

No we're not. Stop being so dramatic. van Gaal will without doubt be Manchester United manager.I don't get how that works out. His press conferences will be dominated by this until it's announced. Get it done say that's all I'm saying on the matter until Holland are out and we know where we stand. It's not a done deal is my opinion. Watch us miss out to Arsenal or Tottenham. We're fast becoming a laughing stock of the BPL.
So, when exactly is this friendly again ?? Let us hope that we get this done quickly, so we can start with the transfers.

Yep, I agree.Tbh, I'm a glad that we're going over every detail(if that's the case with Van Gaal delay). With Moyes, it seemed that we appointed him and gave him free reign of doing stuff. Atleast we're sorting all the stuff here. There's still plenty of time left for everything.
Of course we can. Giggs' speciality is one of a kind. And it will maintain United as we want it to be throughout our history. We are not Chelsea or City without traditionCan't make my mind up about Giggs' role. I don't want to see him leave the club but can you see Van Gaal passing over Kluivert as his number 2 in favour of Giggs? I can't and if that's the case, I can't see Giggs taking a lesser role at the club.
These are all a myth. Players turning manager does not necessarily shine in a lesser club especially with Giggsy's rich experience of the club. He would be frustrated, underachieved and learn not much. The transition from Fergie Era to a new era will be most appropriately with Giggsy as a right hand man.In one way the sentiment in me is glad for Giggs if he is going to be our number 2,the mans a legend but lets be honest its a risk.
Id have preferred him to go away learn his trade get some experience in management elsewhere come back and see if he can cut it.It would have been better to bring in an established coaching team that has been successful and can hit the ground running as there's a bit of work to be done to the first team.
What a load of shit.
The deal is done, he is the new guy there are a couple of formalities and minor things to clear up we could make the announcement now if we wished but we have probably been asked by Van Gaal and the KNVB to keep schtum until after the Ecuador game, meaning you will have your precious announcement come Monday/Tuesday.
But in his case, the balls will be hanging out...He's definitely going to become a sec icon. I imagine him coming out with his own range of underwear to rival Beckham
Yep, I agree.
There seems a more meticulous approach this time, Woodward and company have learned from their mistakes, I think. The rushed appointment of Moyes was beyond reckless.
Then Monday/Tuesday comes, then it's Wednesday/Thursday (definitely, this time!) and end the week off with it's next week and repeat. Ed Woodward needs sacking. He dithered under Moyes which cost Moyes, his job and now he's dithering trying to get another bloke in. I haven't an idea what must be going through Luke Shaw's mind right now about us. I just hope they're telling potential players on the QT that it's a "done deal." Then again, he's probably too busy sorting out a Twix sponsorship deal for The Glazer Family instead of signing players.

They have an upcoming friendly, they want concentration on the World Cup. I can understand their concern, as soon as he's announced there'll be a massive influx of English journalists travelling to the Netherlands' training camp.they are done for a few days after today though
