Weekend Fixtures 20/21 November

I know, it's every bloody time.

Yes, let's swap our 7 goal striker for their 8 goal striker because clearly, he's streets ahead.

I'm not going to argue with you, I'm just going to ask. do you think Berbatov is better than Tevez?

You have a hard-on for a Man City player who hates United. That's your problem, not ours.

I think Tevez has a much better work rate, but Berbatov can play with the people around him better. I think everyone forgets just how frustrating Tevez was when he was at Man United. There are pluses and negatives to both of their games.

Berbatov is a better player, but does he suit our system better? Jury is out on that one I reckon. Berba made his best start ever with us this season, he was on fire and just because he's had a drought of 7-8 games, people are now on his back again. How about supporting the guy instead?

I'd rather have Berbatov here in all honesty. Doesn't moan if left on the bench, doesn't bad mouth the manager and play with the fans emotions like that fecker did. If Tevez loved our club as much as he claimed, he'd have signed no matter what. When he was here, he moaned that he was left on the bench. Just recently, he was moaning that City play him too much. You can't win with the guy.

TonyMontana]he's easily one of the [SIZE="5 said:
best 5[/SIZE] or 10 strikers in the world.
According to this place he's not even World Class let alone top 5 or 10

Fulham look awful. Unless they start actually playing, it could be 2-0 or 3-0.

Yeah, I thought Hughes would have them up for this but they've been awful. A win here and City are very much still in the title race. As I keep on saying, the size of their squad, and the opportunity to spend billions in January if they need to, means that have a realistic shot at winning it.

He was no better than Berbatov.

I can get the stats to prove it to you, if you want.

Calm down, don't get me wrong I like Berbatov, but saying Tevez wasn't better than Berbatov is just wrong.

They probably have a similar amount of goals, but in terms of overall work, attitude and the way he conected with his team mates Tevez was a lot better than Berbatov so far, also Tevez scored a lot of important goals in important games, Berbatov hasn't done a lot of that.

Top 10 perhaps, when he's shit hot for sure, but never Top 5. His time at United has been highly overrated. If he had never played for United it would be unanimous he's a good but not great player.

People forget his second season at the club was fairly crap, save four goals against Blackburn in a league cup match.

Why even say top 5 at all? He clearly isn't in the top 5, and nobody in the right mind would suggest he is. Top 10 is debatable. Top 15 is fair enough.

His time here is anything but overrated by the fans.

And he was very very good long before he came to United and will continue to be very good till he retires.

Fair enough. Top 5 is incorrect but he's definitely top 10 atleast.

I honestly can't think of anymore strikers better than him than the ones you mentioned.

Spurs for the title? Bolton for the title?

City won't get the title, just like Spurs or anybody else like that. I honestly think it's between us, Chelsea and Arsenal.

I was most definitely not being serious ;)

Attitude, connection with team mates?

It's confusing how much running around aimlessly on the pitch can show for all these things.

For one, Berbatov has never complained during his time with us. Despite being not picked for our bigger games, he's got on with his game and tried to break into the team. His attitude is brilliant, his demeanour on the pitch might not reflect that, but he obviously cares about the team and his game. Also, all the players love Berbatov. Look back at the Community Shield when he scored that lob, the whole of the team went to congratulate him.

Tevez, on the other hand was a moaning git. Despite getting 30+ appearances in the second season with us, he still complained about lack of game time. He often spoke publicly about that and getting a new contract. Don't forget that ridiculous celebration with his ears when he scored against City. Great attitude, right?

They both have different styles of play. But, do no get confused between attitude and running around chasing after the ball. Common mistake.
