I like the analogy, and its right, its a great game to watch because of it!

it's a very good game to watch.. only sad thing is it looks like two bottom teams fighting it out for the last safe spot in the league!

GREAT effort from giggs.. that was a superb run.. seems like he lost the finishing touch though! haha

We're having to withstand pressure at times, but it is an away match. But West Ham are piss poor defensively, so we should score more - but we might concede one as well. Its exciting to watch!

We need to get a bit of possession so we can put some pressure on the West Ham defence. As it is, it's all West Ham

With the exception of Giggs, I would at least say that its a performance with good hunger and effort - at fecking last. Bet their ears have been hurting in training.

it used to be that teams like this would have settled for a draw even at home against us.. 1 point for them used to mean so much.. now they all think they can beat us.. sucks.

watched the liverpool sunderland game.. it reminded me of the liverpool barca game.. sunderland defended their hearts out.. no attack anywhere.. it was at anfield, but teams used to play like this against us even at their own stadia!

Most teams have actually defended in numbers against us, but West Ham like to play good football and don't do that, for a start because their defence is shit and they need to outweigh it with goals - which they may well score. Its vital for us to break better and get another goal.

he hasn't been playing in his favoured position.. can't blame him, although more efforts from him would be very welcomed.

I've lost count of the times he has dribbled it up to their defence and then his last touch has been too hard and given it to them. so frustrating.

This is the West Ham which conceded 4 goal in a first half, have a terrible terrible home record. I'm glad we're winning currently, but we've far from won yet and could do with trying to finish them off.

agreed. i now recall a lot of times they have actually tried to make something out of games against us.. when Eric and Julian Dicks were still playing it used to be a thriller everytime we played them.. two captains of very different nature.

It wasn't long ago that they beat us.

but they've been playing like this since the first minute.. our midfield have no ball winners who can stop their attack.. so i'm not very surprised.. 4-3-3 is due to give a lot of room for oppositions to play attacking game anyway.

but i have also agreed with Neil that WHU always try to make something in games against us.

Great to hear the Christmas Cantona song.

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me,
An Eric Cantona.
On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me,
Two Cantonas, and an Eric Cantona.

that was too close!

Defoe is really giving us a torrid time. Almost scored then.

Always rated him, meself.
