i would bring berba in around the 60th min mark, to help us keep possession. with truly makeshift defense, we need to keep the ball as well as possible and berba would help us with that.

His ability to play a long ball is the third best in our team, behind two very talented passers in Scholes and Carrick.
His ability to hit a shot is the best in the team.
He doesn't pick the right times to shoot, and he can't find the space to get a good pass or shot going, though. That's intelligence - the ability to find space, not technique.

Think some of you are harsh on Gibson. He may not be having the best game, but he isn't as bad as some of you are saying.
Nah, I thought he picked the right time 3 times today, the execution has just been terrible.
I think Scholesy is judging Gibson by today's match alone in which I would agree and say he's had a bad match in terms of technique. I don't think his first touch or passing has been all there. But I think he's done a decent job in terms of stretching West Ham's midfield and defence which hasn't really been picked up on.
His first touch has been woeful.

But if your pleased with him, then you are watching a different game.

Playing poorly and not having good technique are two entirely different things. Scholesy's had games when his passing and shooting have been off, doesn't mean he hasn't got the technique.
