Westminster Politics

Getting sacked in the current circumstances must be utterly embarrassing.

Sky have just said there is one more resignation expected but they don’t have a name

I'm genuinly terrified by who could be running the country this time tomorrow. The last lot were pretty dreadful, but at least there were some brains in the mix. The next lot are going to be utterly lacking.

Brandon Lewis had his flight delayed and a timed tweet came out 45 minutes ago saying he resigned. No prizes for guessing what he’s there to do

Johnson is a different level of scum. Have some shame

The clown probably can't afford to resign. Like, literally needs his wages or he's broke again.

I'm sure he will land a column on the mail to spout brexit guff and snipe at his successor and a big fat payrise to boot

He’ll fall on his feet sadly, writing well-remunerated columns for the Telegraph or Mail. Still, I reckon Carrie will dump him fairly quickly.

How does the fecker think he got 14 million votes all by himself. Does he not realise how the voting system works!

He's genuinely going to go against the framework of our parliamentary democracy. I don't know if he'll accept anything other than a GE result as reason to leave office.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The govt has no power now, I suspect none of their bills or anything will get through parliament, the Tories will deliberately vote down anything as they don't have confidence in him or his govt.
