In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) is joined by CEO Duncan Drasdo and Financial Director Andy Green from the Manchester United Supporters Trust for a special episode on all things behind the scenes at Old Trafford including a brief history of MUST and their aims today, views on INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe so far, and the Old Trafford regeneration.
When the club have a say and they don't deny the rumours it says enough mate. If he was staying United would have come out and said that they are still behind their manager. To come out and say they won't discuss rumours and that's it, he is as good as gone.

I always thought he should have left everton years ago he stagnated and had a go abroad or at celtic.

Woy wasn't given a season, who knows where they'll land if he's given a full season, with Moyes we can safely assume we're -6 from our last position, since there's only 3 meaningless game left.
i'm hoping he goes to Liverpool personally, either that or a swap deal with Dortmund....

How will we cope without it!I suspect that the jobs that Moyes would have a chance of getting will be lower half of the table; anyone for whom finishing 7th or 8th would be a superb achievement. I'd be astonished if the likes of Spurs were even remotely interested after such a high profile failure at United.
He might take a year out then perhaps attempt to get a Championship club promoted. Not sure about going abroad. Would he really appeal to clubs in other countries ? A few people have mentioned Celtic; that seems a decent shout.

One of the newly promoted teams would take him if they're struggling to fight relegation around November. He'd probably be ideal to bring in to do the rescue job and then establish them as a solid midtable team over the next 3-4 years.
Norwich are a good bet, if they stay up.
I dated a woman who I felt that way about. Dumping her was sweet relief.
As for Moyes, how about Scotland?

He is serious. He's a Liverpool fan.
He will be fine, he has to dust himself up and follow the Steve McLaren blueprint by going abroad and rebuilding some of his reputation. Winning a lesser competitive foreign league would do him a world of good and take that loser stigma away from his CV. Seeing some football abroad might make him more tactically aware. He has the organization, work ethic and all the good things needed to be a good manager and he's still fairly young that he can rebuild himself in 3-4 years.

In a retrospec, apart from his rants, he's actually quite an ok coach, he manages to win the Euro with a handicap at Chelsea.
Champions league with Liverpool, League with Valencia... And we were laughing at him.

He will be fine wherever he goes. Just because he isn't United quality and failed here doesn't mean that he is shit. Clubs like Newcastle, WHU would do quite well with him being at the helm.

Pardew won't be sacked soon, so that's not an option for Moyes. A punt on Sunderland would not be a fool's bet.
He was mentioned as a candidate for the Schalke job not very long back. Don't know if it will possible now.

I would be rooting for him where ever he goes. A job like Newcastle could be perfect at this stage. Establish them strongly in the top half of the table, with a trophy or two in the next 5 years.

No. He's a good manager and always has been. Just not for a club of United's stature.

He is a good manager. Newcastle would be ideal for him. Then there are clubs who will survive the relegation, I think they will be smart to get Moyes if possible. He is good for clubs who are in that kind of condition.
We should loan him the senior players that under perform, just to piss them off.

Eh no we should be placing young players with teams that play expansive attacking football, which is unlikely to be a team managed by Moyes.
Now that i think about it, its interesting that we never loaned young players to everton during moyes time there, you would have thought that would have been a prime destination for our academy players given Moyes and Fergusons relationship, makes you wonder why now.
I think Villa would be perfect for him... establish PL club, currently under-performing/achieving, not a lot of money to spend, lots of youngsters about... Moyes would sort that club out no problems.

I reckon he could be in with a shout at Newcastle if Pardew goes in the summer. I reckon it would suit him relatively well as the realistic target would be somewhat similar to his remit at Everton i.e. consistent top-half finishes with decent cup runs and aiming for European spots.
Basically he's now in a position where a lot of the good work he did at Everton will now be replaced in peoples' minds by the poor work he did here.
