Nail on head!
Feck sake. First his hair and now balancing nails on his head? No wonder he's shite.
Nail on head!
Who said this? He's not an intelligent technical player didn't you hear? Just strong and fast.
It's not hate, it's criticism. Some people need to learn the difference.
So why don't they hate Lukaku too?
Feck sake. First his hair and now balancing nails on his head? No wonder he's shite.
You might have missed his performance thread. Lukaku clearly struggles with being a target man and has great link up play on the ground, but it doesn't stop people pigeon holing him into being a donkey with little technical qualities

Explains why Southgate didn't pick himSmalling is hated because he is black as well, nothing to do with his game.

Raheem Stirling. So if a player is black and or plays for Man Utd they get rough treatment from the media.
Got it.
Not RAWK like at all.
Raheem Stirling.
Its not only a English thing though. I was reading a Dutch forum during the match and Pogba was getting 'hate' there too and during the season he gets called overrated, shit and a waste of money multiple times every match (its almost like redcafe)
I think it has to do with his social media activities, him being the former most expensive footballer all time, not having a goal/assist every match and the fact he plays for United/Mourinho.
I really dont understand the hate.. he might not always play like a world class midfielder but he has qualities no other player in the world has (strenght combined with technique and vision) and his stats -despite what people claim- arent bad at all either.
Strong start but you lost me at the being black bit.Cost a lot of money.
Plays for Manchester United.
Is foreign (and black too no less).
Has generally underperformed.
Has notions.
Any and all of those reasons, I suspect.
Exactly and that's the major issue I have.People are jealous of his money and fame which is understandable. It's not even constructive criticism at this point. It's got to point where you think the game is not even being watched. He wasn't spectacular today but he was the best out of the ones who played for France.
My ListCost a lot of money.

So your suggesting that the French public take their lead from Graham Souness??Foreign commentators trust local based commentators judgement. You can't expect someone from Holland etc to know the EPL as much as the likes of Carra and the Nevilles do. Thus it creates a contagion were criticism at local level is spilled abroad as well.
In Italy things are different. English players are seen differently in Italy ie players with plenty of heart and not lot of brains or talent to go by. Thus they take what the likes of Gaz say with a pinch of salt
There's a lot of truth to this.He likes fancy haircuts and he’s a United player. Two key credentials to being hated in football.
Hated, Adored, Never Ignored![]()

There is no doubt that some casual fans get their lead from pundits view but most match day supporters go by what they see on the pitch.I think they take the local pundits opinion in consideration. I've noticed that quite a lot between the Serie A, the Maltese commentators and the EPL. Things said during games on local level are repeated 2-3 games after by the foreign ones. Which is fair enough since the premise is that these people know their stuff. Who would pay millions to pundits whose got no clue what they are saying right?
Those players don't fit the profile of someone who the press would destroy. Rashford, by all accounts, is humble, keeps his head down, and until recently lived with his Mum. Lingard is a local lad like Rashford and only became somewhat relevant this year, but is still quite unimportant in the grand scheme of things.Got to be a special case here - a true victim of the media in my opinion. They invade his personal life for no fecking reason.
Never seen that happen with Rashford, Lingard, Young etc. It's truly bizzare and I'm glad commentators called the Sun out in the friendly warm up matches.

Eh?Smalling is hated because he is black as well, nothing to do with his game.
The gutter press like to find someone/anyone that they can create controversy around to sell papers, always have always will. The people most responsible are those that buy that rubbish. Those players don't fit the profile of someone who the press would destroy. Rashford, by all accounts, is humble, keeps his head down, and until recently lived with his Mum. Lingard is a local lad like Rashford and only became somewhat relevant this year, but is still quite unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
Young deservedly received a lot of heat in 2012 because of his diving. But he's been out of the spotlight since then, because he's also not a star or particularly important to England or even United.
Sterling is young, prococious, made a huge money move to City, made Scousers angry (always a recipe to sell papers and the media will lap that spiteful shit up). He had a kid at 15. He also doesn't come across as humble. And his Jamaican background. Now it's all wrong spiteful bollocks, and Sterling's treatment is beyond unfair. However he is a prime target in a way the 3 players you listed are not.
I would argue that Beckham absolutely did fit that profile. He dated a slice girl. He was flamboyant. Successful. A top top footballer and a model. He sold papers worldwide. Beckham was the press ultimate dream.Did Beckham fit the profile of someone they wanted to destroy? Rooney?
Pogba was an ex-United player, when he was in Juve everything was relatively okay.
The shitstorm started when he stopped the war with Sir Alex and came back to United... the price tag probably didn't help too.
You weren't paying attention before the start of the last season when pundits where certain that Moratta would be the better more "intelligent" striker when he signed for Chelsea. So why don't they hate Lukaku too?

its not even subtle - forgetting that Rom is very intelligent, very studious and speaks some 6 languages - none of that matters because he's such a unit/ beast/ tank and whatever other descriptions given to black physical players.
