Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester United

4-3-3

Rooney - Saha - Solskjaer

Josh holding midfielder, could be great with Carrick-Scholes and O'Shea. O'Shea do all the defensive job.
No width though. Hopefully Rooney has more of a free role

I don't know what it will be really. Hope the players do :(

Rooney is terrible on the left but no-one worse than Solskjaer is on the right or O'Shea is in the middle. Play players in their position please Ferguson.
Calm down. Ole has always done a good job on the right

Well in your opinion maybe. I think he's always been poor there and want him playing up front like he was against Newcastle.

When did you start watching United? Sounds like sometime in the last 2 seasons...

:wenger: :wenger:

That team looks pretty poor.

O'Shea!?
Two Strikers on the wings?

That's harsh, Wes and Evra have both come in and done well for us earlier in the season at full back.

O'Shea slots in, in place of Fletch so nothing much new there, that's his primary role these days.

And i don't think we'll have Ole and Rooney playing like wingers necessarily, it'd leave Louis far too islolated.

Some variation of a 4-3-3 is still what i expect. It'll probably be a fairly narrow game.

This is the time for Carrick to step in. O´Shea to do the dirty work, Carrick to pass ball forward.

On the positive side Evra is playing which means we should get some width and penetration on the left.
In 2003 (i think it was 03) he played most of the time on the right and did very well. Fergie once said he does not know where to play Ole, as he's good in both positions

Is it the same Solskjaer that held beckham out of the team many years ago, as a right winger? :)

What a bunch of useless mongtastical cretins the rest of you are

I reckon we'll see something like this, with Ron, Giggs & Olly on the bench. 5-1 Utd with a hatrick for Roon, 1 for Saha & 1 for Olly coming off the bench.

--------VDS---------
Nev--Rio--Vidic--Evra
--Carrick---O'Shea---
--Fletch-----Scholes-
--Roon------Saha----

we are screwed

to be honest, Beckham was only dropped maybe 3 or 4 times with Solskjaer playing on the right.
Beckham was injured like 2-3 months and Ole played well on the right.

Sorry but that's pretty clueless.

I don't know whether Ole can be good on the wing now, having been out so long, but to say he's always been poor there is ridiculous. Even the media were impressed. Ole's wingplay was very instrumental in our last title.

Ole was superb on the wing during almost the entire 02-03 season.

Probably doesn't have the sharpness to do the same job now

we should win I hope even though it isn't our full-strength side.

Hmm no Fletcher either, must be injured I think.

I think a draw would be a good result with the team we have out. Just watched highlights of the game at Wigan last year. They really battered us. We were so lucky to win.
