By far and away our best players this season and is start to become more decisive in the final third. Too bad every other attacking player has gone to shit this season. His performances have been looked over this season due to Chelsea playing like shit but I would say he is one of the best performers in the league this season. Also gives his all every game which is great to see.

Hazard might be more talented but I'm not convinced that if I was building a side I'd have him ahead of Willian.
I'd say he was pushed a bit too much into a workhorse role on the wing. He looked like a fantastic AM whenever I saw him before his move to England, just wasn't given enough responsibility to shine at Chelsea before this season. It's more a finally back to his best thing than a development.

They are intented to be on goal though, that's the dangerous thing about those crosses - the keeper can't risk to move too early and if no one touches the ball, they go in at the far post. He sure knows how to whip them im.

IMO this Willian is better then the Willian at Shaktar. This season he is showing the attacking threat and creativity he showed at Shaktar (Playing against better opponents this time around) but also has the same insane workrate that he developed at Chelsea. Also, he has shown more grit and the ability to take a game by the scruff of the neck the same way he did for them.
The problem with William was always his decisiveness and his final ball. His build up work, link up play and work rate were always the best in the team. This season he has added a better final ball to his game and shown more confidence in getting forward to affect the final third. Something he was reluctant to do so much last season. Probably the one shining light from this season so far.
Agree 100%. At Shaktar he was creative but inconsistent and somewhat unreliable. Initially at Chelsea his forward play lost some flair and effectiveness but he became an absolute monster in terms of work-rate, mentality and defensive contribution. Now he seems to have put the two together, and must be the most well-rounded player in the league at the moment. Which is nice, because he seems like a likeable human being too.
Nice to see Willian proving his critics wrong. He's such a class player.

He has a much better all round game than you think. I've watched a lot of Chelsea this and last season and he's quite underrated. He's probably underrated in his attacking abilities because people always talk about how good he is defensively.
