World Cup 2018 & 2022 bids

This reminds me of speaking to my class at assembly and bricking it...

Thank god he's finished...Play the Eurovision one again.

Basically... Vote Russia or else we will break you.

Russia must have this in the bag, how else can they be so half-arsed about the lasting impression being one of utter boredom and general shiteness?

To be honest, in terms of fairness, Russia should get the worldcup.

In money terms - that was promising.

In terms of everything else - that was cringeworthy and rubbish.

I was thinking that also.

But anyway they're about to get a certificate.

I agree...though in the interest of what's actually best for the majority of the fans (and players) going...they shouldn't. But then that's not what it's about anymore.

Latest odds from William Hill

England 8/13
Russia 2/1
Portugal and Spain 5/1
Belgium and the Netherlands 40/1

Rather see the odds from a Swiss betting organisation.

I hope England get it. I'll have to make sure I save a shit load of leave and spend the whole World Cup over there.

If England dont get it then I would rather see it goto Russia than Sportugal

Blatter: "I can only give you the participation certificate.. not the one to host it...yet"

Hehehehe....It is so going to be Russia. But Blatter will be act all sad for England, but be cracking up inside.

If England don't get it my second choice would be Netherlands / Belgium.

Yeh, completely. It's about size of nation for me - the travel would be quite easy, and that's a massive issue. Russia would be a nightmare logistically for supporters. As would the US in 2022 I would imagine.

Said virtually the same thing to England earlier too.

Called Russia "Interesting", Englands excellent and remarkable.

We could pick it apart for hours - but the fact is Blatter has extremely broken English - you cant really interpret what he says.

Also, he's a stupid fat wanker whose chubby little fingers can barely hold a certificate without turning it into ashes.

Sportugal for me for similar reasons, but I just think the weather will be nicer.

Qatar's presentation vid's pretty impressive.

I'm voting for them on the basis of it.

Russia don't think they have a chance. Putin wouldn't have baled if they were going to win.

Man outing those two executives is going to cost England, all the talk was they were going to vote England.

Oceania and was the other one, some African delegate?

Sadly the supporters seem to be at the bottom of FIFA's priorities.

He would have showed up on stage bare chested and on a horse.

I think that is more about the Wikileaks stuff - he's got his hands full already.

Maybe but he is never one not to bask in the sunlight of good publicity or run from failure like a scouser sighting a Job Centre.
