If the Cameroon player on the post had stayed put she would have dealt with that but she got instinctively attracted to the ball.
And had the keeper not got a hand on it, it would have hit her anyway.
Those free kicks are a bit of a crapshoot. They left a gap there which was exploited well by England.

Who is England’s first choice striker then?
Ellen White seems to be Phils favoured option. Toni Duggan plays for Barca but can be hot and cold. Jodie Taylor won the golden boot at the euros in 2017 but seems to be out of favour.

We have white through the middle at the mo, Duggan wide left, Taylor on the bench. Keep your eye on Fran Kirby in the advanced midfield role too, lacking confidence but a really good player.
CAMs left back has been busy. The right back hasn’t seen the ball.
Cameroon are a really physical side. I’m getting a little bit concerned about getting caught on the counter

Scott is an absolute weapon at set pieces but can be very sloppy in possession. Lucy Bronze is our best player in my opinion.
They're certainly coming back into the game now. First twenty minutes England just kept pushing them back, it's looking like a game again now.

I don't think coaching is the issue, the patterns are great in attack when they are careful with the ball but some of these girls just making too many poor decisions

I only really know Canada well but it seems like the obvious move is to get Bronze into midfield in the 2nd half to improve your play there.
