I'm super happy for how the season has ended and very glad for the team having accomplished the League and UCL under him. I started supporting Real Madrid when the galacticos nonsense began and he has been my favorite player ever since. Now we have won back to back UCL and a legue with him as a manager and he also was won one as Ancelotti's assistant so if he was already a legend for Real Madrid his status in the club has gone beyond that and I feel he's the embodiment of Real Madrid's greatness.
I'm so happy right now I don't feel botherd by people questioning his merits as a manager; as I think he's the perfect manager for us and Real Madrid is the perfect team to him. I also wonder how will he do at a different team and after a very short, and yet successful career, it's already very hard for him to surpass what he has already accomplished with Real Madrid so is very likely he can't do better elsewhere (he would need to win 3 UCL cups in a row and some leagues along the way lol).
However he deserves a lot of credit for his man managerial skills and integrating a bunch of youth players into a team full of stars. Everyone is talking about how Real Madrid already had a great squad but that wasn't the narrative before he took the job and in this season we were carried a lot of games by the likes of Lucas Vázquez, Asensio, Nacho, etc. They might be rated now but they weren't when he took the job and he was questioned plenty of times by them too much trust and responsibility and even I was wondering if it was a good idea to put them ahead of James in some games. He trusted in our younger players and they responded and that's what made our squad stronger as everyone was performing to the point of being able to bench Bale and having the likes of James and Pepe not even making to the bench. The team has been full of confidence this final months and everyone (at least most of our players) feels like an important part of the team.
He also played a big part in managing Ronaldo to be at his best in the most crucial part of the season and everyone seems to respect him and trust him and now we feel more like a team rather than a collection of superstars.
