Well he's not smaller than Berb anyway, that's for sure. It's impossible to fully tell via photos and stats can be wrong, but he's probably not as tall as I thought and as small as you thought. 6,2 would be about right it looks like.

He actually mentioned his physique as a negative. "Tall and wiry". Which is true. He's over 6 foot and has a slim build. He's certainly not bigging him up as being a tall, physically imposing keeper.

I do hope he adds mass to his body, just to add to his presence. I am sure he will, he is only 20. His distribution looks to be fantastic already, and I have no worries over his kicking. Excited to see more of him. A few clean sheets, which I am certain will come, will increase his confidence.

You're right, but I think thats part of the bedding in process he is going to go through this season. It was a great cross, and even so the majority of balls put into that area are going to be dealt with by Rio or Vidic.
We'll see a few dozen goals just like that in the PL this season.
We were just blessed with VDS. One of the least error prone GKs I've ever seen in my life. We need to be patient with De Gea, he's clearly got all the potential but he won't be perfect straight away. Good thing he has the worlds best defense in front of him

Everyone on the Caf still seems to be backing him. It was only his first game anyway, and we know he's not going to be the finished article for a few years.
