Chelsea vs Manchester United

David DE GEA
Rafael DA SILVA - Rio FERDINAND - Jonny EVANS - Patrice EVRA
Antonio VALENCIA - Michael CARRICK - Ryan GIGGS - Luis NANI
Wayne ROONEY - Danny WELBECK

Boom. 0 - 2.

That looks fair enough to me, and at last we'll have a more than useful bench, with the likes of Smalling, Scholes, Park, Young, Berbatov and Hernandez, maybe even Cleverley, all available.

You can look at the fact that we haven't won there in the league for 10 years or you can look at the fact that we won there last time we played them. I'll go with the latter.

If it is only starting to snow on saturday night and people will be already in London or setting off in the morning, it might be too late to call it off if they wait for the snow. Usually it's been snowing for days before they call it off, I'm not sure they'll bother in this case.

Unless they call it off before the snow, based on weather reports, which I can't see myself.

So we're going to face what

Mata Torres Sturridge
Meireles Lampard Essien
Bosingwa Luiz Cahill Ivanovic
Cech

That back line and that goalkeeper should be got at. No real protection from midfield either, with a half-fit Essien and the defensively clueless Meireles + Lamps in there, and two wingers who doesn't track back well.

They're there for the taking if we have a go.

If it gets called off I'll be livid. They'll have Terry and Cole back for the rescheduled one.

If the pitch is okay to play on, the match should go ahead IMO.

I agree, but when last season's game at Chelsea was postponed, one of the papers published an aerial view of the stadium, and there was no snow at all on the pitch. The decision to call the game off (about 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off I seem to recall) was clearly made in respect of the potential hazards presented to supporters approaching the stadium.

That's just 3 inches! They'll call off a game for 3 inches?!? Pussies

You don't live in England do you?

All you have to see is one snowflake here & the entire road system comes to a complete standstill.

I used to have fun driving in the snow, I remember loads of times in the 80's crossing the Snake Pass when it was marked as being closed.

I think they'd rather play us now due to our injury list. If it get's called off then we could be back to full strength next time we play them.

no i rather we play them now and beat them if we can, we don't want a fixture congestion anyway.

Will be interesting to see how the London and travelling Manc Reds give Mr Terry his welcome?

I'm super dooper confident we're going to win. The reason? It's been 10 fecking years surely we've got to win once!!! FFS.

I remember the last win there in the league, great goal by Scholes. Still wasn't enough to win the league that season as we fecked up earlier against Boro.

This is a great chance to get 3 points, put pressure on their defence all the time.

The problem last year what the snow fall was followed by a hard frost and the snow was frozen , Heathrow was shut for 3 days due to the frozen snow.
The roads were no better.
It only snowed for something like 30 mins , but the amount of snow it dumped was huge.
Last years snowfall was said to of been a once in a ten year event.

Last time we did the league double over them was back in the 87-88 season.. if that's not a hoodoo, i don't know what is.. Surely has to come to an end this sunday!!

Terry, Cole, Mikel & Ramires all out with Lampard doubtful

The form they're in, the way we're playing, we'll never have a better chance to end our Stamford Bridge drought

AVB said he's backing Bertrand to fill in.

Ah, of course. Well, I'll be rooting for a draw or a Man utd win if someone has to come away with all the points.

Preference:

1. Draw
2. Man utd win
3. Chelsea win
