Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

Why's everyone so convinced that he'll be off in the summer?

Looked at the moving gif in the rawk thread......and to be fair to suarez, maybe its not as it seems..that's what i can see anyway.

What i can see is this - Evra is clearly less enthusiastic about shaking Suarez's hand, but extends it any way...but not very sincerely, quite apprehensively, in fact, and also quite low - he's wanting Suarez to make an effort, ie, he wants suarez to actually reach out and grab his hand, probably more gauging Suarez's sincerity rather than anything else...

Suarez, now i don't know if he intended to share Evra's hand or not, could (and this is an assumption i make) be thinking that Evra doesn't really want to shake given Evra's half-hearted gesture, and moves on to De Gea...

Evra, now angry that Suarez didn't make more of an effort to grab his hand for the hand shake, gets angry.

That's how i'm starting to see things anyway. In anycase, i'm tired of this whole saga.

Why's everyone so convinced that he'll be off in the summer?

His general behaviour dragging the reputation of the club through the mud and the fact he's talented enough to play for better sides, along with a lot of wishful thinking, I expect.

Why's everyone so convinced that he'll be off in the summer?

Because I think he will realise that Dalglish was lying and that they aren't that good. A cup side at best. Maybe Dalglish told him he was Fergie's right hand man. He doesn't seem too bright.

Dalglish isn't fit to clean Shankley or Paisley's shoes.

true.

as much as I 'hate' Liverpool, I always respected those two men. Its men like them and Fergie that made the British game great.

How Dalglish and Suarez have managed to tear down that club's reputation in such a short time is amazing.

I doubt the club will ever overcome this.

Why's everyone so convinced that he'll be off in the summer?

I'm not so convinced he'll be off in the summer but if he is it'll be a mixture of some of what others have said above and if Liverpool don't finish the season in a Champions League place there'll be clubs who are in the CL interested in signing him and I can see him wanting to go.

As long as it's not us.:nervous:

I'm going to give him a little bit of credit...because i think when he went by Patrice near the end of the first half, it was an opportunity to get Patrice sent off. His response once Rio made the tackles different. Very immature/frustrated. He's a talented player - he's a knob but Liverpool have only themselves to blame and I think he's taken advantage of that. They allowed him to assume the role of the victim and in the process allowed him to hit out or maybe feels he has the right too. You would expect Liverpool to release a statement at some point. They have too. If they don't then it only proves Kennys not in charge of the dressing room. Not if, as he insinuated, he was lied too' about Suarez shaking Patrices hand. Happy Days

Who would actually want to sign this cnut? What would signing a man like that say about your club? He'll stay at Liverpool due to a lack of interest and the Scousers were claim its because of his love for them, and his appreciation of their support for him blah blah blah

You wonder if anyone would dare take him after this.

RTE read out an apparent statement from Liverpool that Liverpool "want it known that Suarez did offer his hand".

Johnny Giles also said Ferguson was as much to blame as Dalglish for what happened today.

:wenger:

What utter nonsense

Do some people need to go to Specsavers or somethng. You can clearly see Suarez doesn't even look at Evra and reaches for De Gea instead.

Why on earth would Evra grab Suarez' arm (again something which he totally ignored) if he couldn't be arsed shaking his hand.

Some claptrap being spouted on here. You have read too much RAWK son.

There's more chance of us signing for United.

The only thing with Sir Alex was I don't think it is his place to tell other clubs who they should put in their teams.

I'm glad Fergie said what he did as up until now he had sensibly kept out of the spotlight not talking about the incident. What happened with Suarez today was one thing too far for him and that's why he came out saying that (you have to remember the interview was shortly after the game too so he still had that in his mind). It perhaps wasn't the best thing to do, but I think most can see why he said that.

utter bollox. it has to be viewed in the speed it happened and it is obvious suarez goes straight past him to De gea. its pathetic anyone is trying to make it any different. when he gets to Ferdinand and does not get a handhsake he pauses and shoves his hand towards Rio. Rio has to actually make an effort to ignore it. Suarez went straight past evra and that is blatantly obvious when viewed normal speed

What?? He clearly didn't, as anyone with eyes can see.

I'd love to see him backtrack on that, and say it was said in the heat of the moment.

Would make Liverpool look even worse. :D

How they feckING SHITBALLS are Liverfool OFFICIALLY claiming he offered his hand. I mean..... What the feck?!?!

This is actually beyond funny now.

edit: May not be 'official'. Likely mistake by RTE apparently.

I think Sir Alex has handled this with a lot of class and dignity and has tried to calm the situation, which is more than can be said for Dalglish, who has tried to build the hatred up. Maybe as you say he was just seriously pissed off.

Some Liverpool fans must feel embarrassed.

Lost a lot of respect for Giles, talking complete rubbish. Say what you want about Dunphy, but he would have come down hard on Suarez for his behaviour today.

What?? He clearly didn't, as anyone with eyes can see.

They keep taking De Gea out of the picture in an attempt to make it look like Suarez offered his hand.

Daft really as it makes no sense. Why could Suarez not even look him in the eye and why did Evra maintain eye contact and grab his arm when he snubbed him.

I said the same thing to my sister, almost as bad as Redknapp.

Missed this, what's Giles said?

I can't believe that Evra let Suarez get past him & that De Gea fumbled the handshake.

Like i said - Evra wanted to shake his hand but expected Suarez to make more of an effort which he didn't, so got angry....in anycase, i speculate and that was how i started to see it after seeing those moving gifs perhaps one too many times.

Maybe i have read too much RAWK - and maybe its the slow motion, or maybe i still want to give suarez the benefit of the doubt, don't know...

In anycase, no need for "what utter nonsense" and "utter bollox", not very nice of you. I'm just saying what i started to see after the moving gifs, and didn't conclude either way. Accepting that other people's opinions may be different from yours, right or wrong, could sometimes be a good thing, try it. Shooting off the poster just because of a difference of opinion and is trying to be objective - you just end up like someone on RAWK.

If you can't accept someone has a different opinion on something then don't post on a forum - its what forums are for, debating differences of opinion, what's good about a forum where everyone just agrees with each other?

Anyway thanks for shooting down my posts as "utter tripe". Geez.
