Transfer United Till I Die
I am totally in the know, honest
I've also said that if something definitively opposite to what I've said happens, ie we sign gaitan or something then I should be banned.

There's no point in stopping posting what you hear or offering to be banned. At the end of the day people will post articles and tweets that will turn out to be bullshit. Plus, as I said, the person giving you the info could be wrong so why should you be punished? Or maybe the situation could change for these players.

I'm going stobzilla if he's happy with it? Is that ok mate. I'll not post in the transfer forum again.
If you pm me i'll post it all and if it comes true take credit for it, if not then i'll blame you.
Stuff the little birdie has told me and I've posted on here in the last few weeks:
We have a verbal agreement for clyne in the summer. Nowt signed though.
Hazard is our no 1 target, but he's also at the top of spurs' and city's list. He said that he thinks that hazard would choose us over city but I find it hard to believe he'll come here if city offer him significantly more than we do.
As of a couple of weeks ago we had an interest in kagawa and had asked his agent to keep us informed as to his situation. I've no idea if the bild story is true or of we've taken it further, but if we have it'll probably mean that hazard is going to city.
As of today rvp to city is a goer.
Interestingly we had verbal agreements to sign both nasri and Sanchez last summer but both fecked us off when city and barca came calling.
We've been looking at strootman and witsel but city and real Madrid are keen.
We are NOT signing gaitan. Ever.
You dont think its a bit of a coincidence that through that mess, we come out looking like great talent spotters (aka. transfer muppets) who have agreements and are constantly offering for expensive talents around the world... When the reality is that in the recent past we've had just one summer where we've gone out and signed 2 expensive young talents on that kind of level (Nani and Anderson) ?
All sounds like a football manager expert's wet dream and nothing at all like our current policy.

Its happened a few times before for them although very rarely. They splashed out big bucks on jose antonio reyes back in the day. I believe the fee was close to 20m which was quite alot of money back then. Then of course there was 16m-20m on arshavin but he wasn't really a "big name" type of player I suppose.
They both went for about £25m in the end didn't they? Five million more than Ashley young. Are you saying our policy isn't about signing young world class talent? Why should we not be interested in players like that?
He certainly was a big name after the Euros
Well we had a verbal agreement on terms for months before de gea signed. He'd won the Europa league and in Spain's u-21 euro winning team. And he cost just under £20m. So clearly some do come off. The reality is that you have no idea what our policy is and how much we'll spend. You go on about the nani, Anderson, Hargreaves summer but the following year we paid £30.5m for berbatov. And we spent the best part of £60m last summer and were genuinely trying to sign sneijder.
Right. One player because VDS was definitely leaving.
Not 2 players out of their teens attracting interest from other top teams.
If we had an agreement with Nasri OR Sanchez perhaps thats a bit more believable. Both of them? Yeah right.
Berbatov was what 27? In the premier league. Again a single player and until the last days, when Berbatov had clearly already made his mind up, we werent really competing with anyone for him. Then City came in and apparently Barcelona but they were told that he was going to United or so the story goes.
We didnt seem to be genuinely trying too hard since Sneijder said he was expecting a bid but it never came.
In fact, let me get this straight now... You're claiming we had agreements with Nasri, Sanchez and were trying really hard to sign Sneijder too. All that in one summer?
Tell y'all what. Wait and see and then take the piss if I'm wrong. I'll tell you what I'll do. I won't post anything publically but choose one poster and I'll pm them bits and bobs as I get them. I won't derail any more threads and only he (or she) will know. However stuff turns out it can then be made public and you can mock or apologise at will. Fair?
Do you honestly think that we are not 'tapping' up players on a regular basis and do you honestly think that other clubs don't do that?
Get real.
If we are tapping up loads of players in their early and mid twenties that the other top clubs also want then why is it not a single one has made it through the door?
Is the answer that we're behind so many other clubs in the pecking order and we can never seem to make it that far, or is the reality that we arent in for every talented player in europe like our fans want to believe because they read it in the paper?
Can you tell me what field your source is in out of interest? Because if it's journalism I can tell you, first hand, you're talking about nonsense.
I know for an absolute fact even the most respected journalists, with the greatest sources - to both the individual clubs and players you talk about - would never speak in such certain terms.
Even John Cross at Arsenal wouldn't be privy to ANYTHING specific regarding RVP. He'd hear whispers from both camps, but that's each side bargaining and using the media. RVP has nothing - NOTHING - to gain from playing his hand so soon.
That's without even going into the rest...

I think it's inevitable that it's the Lille defender we're looking at and not Hazard, not if the reports that we've offered Kagawa a contract are true

IF we are signing nethanial cylne too, then i cant see us buying ANOTHER right back? we've got plenty of RB, but no LB.
"I want to play in England and that's what I've decided to."
according to a TV presenter in Paris.
