Berbatov | Fulham player

Because all the people who think Berbatov is this world class, game changing, goal machine worth his current wages are located in this one thread and not in charge of any clubs.

Who the feck said he's world class now? or a goal machine? or an ultimate game changer? keep it up, though, you'll certainly please some of the 'I'll laugh at every negative post on Berba, even if it's complete nonsense' people on here.

Berba's agent said in an interview yesterday for the Bulgarian media that Berba's new club will be confirmed latest by this coming Monday.

There has been a lot of speculation in the last couple of days not only about Fiorentina but also Dynamo Kiev who are supposedly interested. They will most probably play in the CL since they won their first leg away at Borussia Moenchengladbach 3 to 1. Berba wanting to play in the CL and all that.

Should we sell him to Fiorentina if they will then sell Jovetic to City?
That's what Goal.com are running with.

I guess, if they do get Jovetic, they'll be selling one of their players, probably Dzeko.

That'll be okay I guess; he always rapes up.

Still, this sale will enable Fiorentina to sell their best player, probably to City =/.

We're only getting 3 million quid for him, too. (Plus saving 4 million in wages, 7 million).

I heard the Jovetic to Citeh rumour as well. I wonder, if this is the case, why they don't do a swap plus cash if you are correct, Jovetic for Dzeko

if they are in need of a striker? I am curious as to what Jovetic and Dzeko have been valued at?

I really hope to see Berbatov go to a team/league worthy of his talents. With all due respect, I'd be disappointed to see him playing the Russian or Turkish leage. Serie A seems like the ideal destination for his languid genius.

Is this a hint to a potential buyer to get their skates on? Or maybe to Berbs himself to make up his mind and or drop his demands

"There is no movement about anyone going the other way."

"There is only a few days left now until the deadline and that will pass quite quickly I would imagine."

Berbatov still has loads to offer Manchester United and I really hope that we can find a way to accomodate his obvious talent.

Well if we didnt last season and now we have added a proper world class striker as well, how do you think that may turn out if he stays?

I see a number of different options, Randy.

1. van Persie gets raped by a horse, case of mistaken identity, and is immobile for a few months, Rooney decides that his hair implant experiment did not go well and decides to take time off to redo it as well as cure his addiction to McDonald's

2. Hernandez and Welbeck come out of the closet and elope, taking a year off for their honeymoon

3. All of our CBs decide that they rather enjoy the time off and Berba has to fill in

4. Kagawa throws a major tantrum stating that the only reason he came to United is because he wanted to play with pure, 100% talent that is Berba, and Anderson.

5. Nani manages to break a leg while doing some amazing tricks and skills near the corner flag, falling he lands on Valencia's face, who joins Rooney in the plastic surgery clinic, taking Young along to teach him a few things while getting repaired

6. Or Berba just sists tight for a year, getting his big salary, watching us play from front row seats trying to figure out what to spend the money on before he moves to the US or China next year

7. Little chance of this, but he gets transferred before August 31st....

I hope he gets a good move. Otherwise he'll spend the next few months not even getting into the matchday squad which does no one any good.

I can't understand WTF is going on with Berba - I thought he would leave last summer and same again in the winter window and yet he is still here.

What a waste of talent

He will leave on the last day of the transfer window.Clubs are probably waiting for the last moment to get him on a cheap transfer and wages as possible

Liverpool bid £35m for Carroll on deadline day. Does that mean they got him on the cheap?!:nervous:

Probably due to the idiocity of Liverpool

maybe a club in CL will take him in the winter if he's not gone by end of the month.

He's already on the cheap. If still nobody wants him, it surely must be his wages holding this back... In which case he can be quiet about not getting games. You take the games at another club or you take the wages from United and not moan.

Strongly agree.

So we have seven strikers.

Rooney,RVP,Welbeck,Hernandez,Henriquez,Macheda,Berbatov.

There will have to be movement in terms of sales and loans.

What has turned other clubs off of Berbatov, is probably an valid question at this point?

They must be wondering why one the greatest managers of football and men alike has no faith in him and keeps him around like a whipped dog, and draw their own conclusions.

I just wish we get rid of him post haste. It's like having some droopy geezer with cancer hanging around all the time.

For me it's definitely that factor. The main question now is, just how big a drop would he have to take at another club? That might be a reason if he stays here and decides to willingly do nothing in the reserves. I said 'do nothing' since 'rot' is too harsh a word on the guy.

he should've come on instead of anderson since we were chasing the game last weekend.

mind you, i don't think he'll even make the bench this weekend as hernandez should be back?

Perhaps we can loan him out with someone paying half wages if it comes down to it?

The idea that this is Berbatov's fault is absurd; he went from winning the golden boot and being a pivotal part of our title winning side to being frozen out (in a season we won nothing). His goals to games ratio in the limited time he's been afforded on the pitch has been fantastic. SAF dropped the ball on this one and the situation we find ourselves in is entirely his fault.

I would be very happy if he stayed, i still feel he can fill a gap in our team.
But if he stayed and just rotted away, it will be heartbreak :(

I wish we'd got to see more of his talent - especially as we won feck all last year - but SAF has finished him off as far as this club goes. Berba needs to get out ASAP.
