If Nani had put the penalty away last night everyone would be agreeing he was our best player on the night, which he clearly was, though I suppose it doesnt (excuse my punctuation, I cant figure this Spanish keyboard out) help that RVP, Kagawa and Valencia were all absolutely awful, yet obviously Nani is the one who will get all the stick.

Or it just means SAF lets the players decide and Robin possibly didn't fancy it after missing the last one. I highly doubt Nani went over both SAF's and RVP's head on this one.

It also said that they don't really discuss who takes penalties before matches & that they ought to & will in the future.

It might explain why RvP & Chico both missed their's too. Instead of having a designated penalty taker, it's whoever nominates them self.

It seems to be this new thing about stuttering the run up, just fecking blast the fecker & stop messing about.

He is a fairly talented footballer who has moments of brilliance but makes the wrong decision at least half the time and lacks consistency.

He was awful last night but that's just one of those days. However, if we graded him on each game of the season, in at least half of them we would be saying he had a bad to average at best game.

That is not a world class footballer. This is my only issue - people on here suggesting that when it's frankly ridiculous.

I am bit exaggerating saying he misplaced every pass. But he was frustrating to watch at times with his "vision" and "creativity" that resulted in giving the ball away.

Fell like he has this chip on the shoulder, wants to be Ronaldo, but never will.
