Newcastle United v Manchester United

This is the day when Rooney starts scoring, I can feel it guys :)

3-2 to United (Rooney, RvP and Kagawa)

Nani has been shocking of late. But I still don't like the decision to drop him completely. I would persist with Nani because we know that he will eventually hit great form.

There will be all sorts of rumours knocking about tomorrow, just wait and see.

They've hardly played together

They played against Southampton and they spent most of the game playing as far away from each other as possible. Carrick likes to stand still, Cleverley likes to move. Hopefully Clevs will be a bit more disciplined or Carrick will attempt to move away from the centre circle.

They are decent but noway near world-class. We have to beat minefields like that if we are going to be contenders this year.

We've been given the run around by midfields far far worse than those two.

I'm sounding very optimistic, scratch all that, 3-0 United, RVP hat trick!!!!!!

Yes, yes he has. Take away that good 2nd half performance against Spurs (which was the period of the game everybody played brilliantly), he has been one of our worst performers.

Decent against Galatasaray and Wigan. Not near his best but still creating plenty of chances.

With all those forwards and a Cleverly-Carrick pairing i still think there is enough uncertainty here.

And who inows about DDG and our defence.

We've struggled against most midfields this year and Tiote and Cabaye are better than most of them.

Would of prefered Fletcher, Anderson and Carrick.

Some massively negative people in this thread.

PM me stream please, I can't seem to find any on wiziwig

Carrick and Cleverley are better than Tiote and Cabaye.

It's understandable. I don't think anyone is going out of their way to be negative. But the team has not looked right yet this season. Only natural to be a tad concerned

Think it'll be an open game, their back 5 looks awful compared to their front six, while even though our back 5 is almost our first choice, they've been playing like shit all season so far. Hopefully Rooney, rvp and kagawa are up for it, because if they are we will be in for some sexy football.

Great lineup. Should scare any team in the league.

That is a sexy starting line-up. Risky as hell but there's nothing wrong with a little gamble every now and then.

No wingers and Nani not on the bench? Doesn't make any sense.

What has Cabaye and Tiote achieved?

Cabaye has a fair few caps for France, a league title and probably a cup or two.

Just saying right now he would have to be considered a better player than Cleverley. Surely?

This lineup has the potential to play some really exciting football.

He's a good player.

The cabaye-tiote CM pairing is overrated though. If we struggle today, it'l be because we fail to deal with the presence of Ba and Cisse, not because of Tiote and Cabaye running the midfield.

I wonder if we've finally dropped the dreaded 4-4-2, and gone with 4-3-2-1. The lack of natural wingers does signify thisl.

Very good line up and very positive! Great to see! Just wondering what the problem is with Nani
