If you take out the injuries and concentrate on his ability and individual performances in his Arsenal days, RVP is definitely up there with the best strikers to play the game. He's never really suffered with form, it's the injuries that hampered him.
If he went to us, Madrid or Barca instead of Arsenal and steered clear of injuries, he'd be swimming in trophies by now. For a player of his ability, he should have a feck load more honours at 29 years of age.
