It might be the first generation where I don't own all three consoles, I know that!

I could barely justify it last time with all the shit on the 'big two', this time it's going to be horrible.


Plus, what's the point in three PC's, a mid-mid/high-high setup? I already have that!

This is the problem that I have. Nintendo simply recycle their IP in different ways. You're playing the same thing over and over for 30 years! At least Sony introduce new IP.

Bollocks do they! Most of it is just copies of other games, and three Encharted in one generation is hardly the same.

Besides, why are you trying to convince me of all people to buy Sony? :lol:
 
I have to say I played Super Mario Galaxy the other day, and it just wasnt that good.

A lot of the Nintendo games rely a lot on nostalgia to continue selling. Its effectively the same game each time just on a different piece of hardware. Yet it sells stupid amounts

I borrowed Uncharted 3 from a friend, and haven't played Gears of War. Though I know what your trying to say that those publishers just release the same sort of game each time.

But those games are at least not just the exact same tracks with the same characters without any real new material like maria cart that is re released each time.

I've played mario cart in a number of its difference forms and it has largely been the same each time. A few extra bits appear, but it also has all the old tracks in each one.

That's true, if they put their efforts early on to get the AAA chipset working & then paired it with an 68030 then they would have possibly had a PS beater. But what we got was the CD32 which was rushed and only designed to make a quick profit for a struggling company.

The crazy thing is that Los Gatos basically had the AAA in 1987. It still needed some floating point hardware though.
 
First time I'm not too bothered about the new consoles, I'll probably end up picking both up, but I used to be a sony fanboy of sorts, but now everyone has an xbox it just seems easier to go the xbox route. However, Uncharteds are worth getting a ps3 for.
