I'm happy with Fellaini, we needed a CM and while we didn't get a Fabregas or Modric type of player, Fellaini will add to the squad.
Can anyone tell me the exact quotes they disagree with. I can only find one quote ie that he doesn't believe he'll improve Manchester United' Apart from that he's top notch.
To be fair it is hard to argue with alot of what he's said, but his safeness in terms of passing is actually a strength due to the fact unlike Carrick/Cleverley, he's very safe in the attacking third and in and around the box... doesn't get a rush of blood to the head or a nosebleed by being in forward positions. Also if he does make it as a DM, then you don't need to be an adventurous passer... as long as you do have some skill on the ball and can protect it in tight situations, which none of our midfielders can do bar Anderson/Giggs and Cleverley on a good day.
This. Gattuso played safe too but that didnt stop him from keeping the likes of scholes, zidane and veron on his pockets. If fellaini can emulate that then im happy

Fellaini is going to help out the defense considerably so we concede less and will help us score more from set pieces etc.....and is talented enough to get the ball quickly to more skillful player...will be a great asset...embarrassing how so many are clueless on here and will slate him endlessly just because he is not fabregas or ronaldo

Felliani will be fine. Gives Moyes options and solidifies the back four. As for fixing our inability to break teams down the final third, we will need to wait for another season it seems.

That won't be a problem if Kagawa can finally step up his game for us. Nani's return to the starting 11 would also help.
Yeap. Big 'if' with Kagawa... has the skills for sure but Japanese aren't the most adaptable of creatures in general.

I work in the asia pacific region incl Japan. They are the most adaptable outside their comfort zone.

We have players who can play just behind RvP, like Rooney or Kagawa. I want to see Fellaini in the CM area where I feel we can get overrun too much. I feel he would give us a presence in there, and solidify our midfield.
I'm not saying he should go around just kicking the opposition, but I do feel better that we have him there now and I don't feel our midfield will get bullied as much. It will be interesting in a few weeks time when we play City as Yaya Toure usually just powers his way through our team. Hopefully Fellaini will put a stop to that

Err... nope.
Not really what he meant though. Kind of meant he can be a cult hero like Cantona which I think he will be to a lesser degree and he can become a key player in big games which he will be.
