According to a few on here, its only butt hurt transfer muppets who didn't get their small Spanish midfielder this summer who are of this opinion. But Kendall – the most successful manager in Everton’s history, said of the Fellaini deal: “Moyes wanted him and got him but I don’t think he’ll improve Manchester United.
“To start with, where do you play him? David talks about his versatility – he can play in the centre of midfield, off the striker or in a holding role in front of the back four.
“But if you are buying a player, you put him where you want him to play and I haven’t got a clue what his best position is.
“I appreciate the lad. He’s got presence because of his size and he’s dangerous at set-pieces.
“But he floats – he plays it easy. He’s too safe with the ball for me – he doesn’t hurt the opposition with a pass.
“I would put that deal down as a good sale by Everton at that money. And when I look at the players who came in, it was without a doubt a good window for Everton.”

To be fair it is hard to argue with alot of what he's said, but his safeness in terms of passing is actually a strength due to the fact unlike Carrick/Cleverley, he's very safe in the attacking third and in and around the box... doesn't get a rush of blood to the head or a nosebleed by being in forward positions. Also if he does make it as a DM, then you don't need to be an adventurous passer... as long as you do have some skill on the ball and can protect it in tight situations, which none of our midfielders can do bar Anderson/Giggs and Cleverley on a good day.

Do you not think kendal will be trying to put a pro Everton spin on the deal, because that's essentially what he's doing.According to a few on here, its only butt hurt transfer muppets who didn't get their small Spanish midfielder this summer who are of this opinion.
Fellaini will be scintillating for us, i have wanted us to sign him all summer and was shitting it on deadline day that we would choose Herrera over him.
THIS is the player that will be the first giant step to change our midfield into a formidable entity to be reckoned with. fecking international break, want to see him play for us asap.
Still can't tell if you're wumming.
No time to wum. Is he really that underrated that people can't take posts praising him seriously?

Next summer....He's still raging we didn't sign Gareth Barry.
Yep.Fellaini is going to help out the defense considerably so we concede less and will help us score more from set pieces etc.....and is talented enough to get the ball quickly to more skillful player...will be a great asset...embarrassing how so many are clueless on here and will slate him endlessly just because he is not fabregas or ronaldo
Got to love the caf, criticized and painted as a wum because I use eloquent words to describe my happiness and appreciation of the signing of a top player.
Fellaini will prove me right.
Felliani will be fine. Gives Moyes options and solidifies the back four. As for fixing our inability to break teams down the final third, we will need to wait for another season it seems.
That won't be a problem if Kagawa can finally step up his game for us. Nani's return to the starting 11 would also help.
Yeap. Big 'if' with Kagawa... has the skills for sure but Japanese aren't the most adaptable of creatures in general.

Apparently Henning has also been saying Felaini can be the new Cantona...
