Awful keeping for Huntelaar's equaliser there. He's on a very good run though.
I like Gladbach, so I'm good this time. Really annoying that they helped Hamburg and Hoffenheim to stay up thoughGood ol' Dortmund helping struggling teams back on their feet.
This really has developed into a pattern for them over the last couple of seasons.
Does anyone want to finish 2nd in Bundesliga?
Weidenfeller and Piszczek mercilessly outplayed for the second goal. BVB playing some slow, static, lethargic football. Probably would've looked a bit different if Aubameyang converted his chance instead of hitting the crossbar.
Hermann is a very good player. Could be worth a punt for a bigger team in Europe.
Mainz 2-0 down
Firmino scores. This player is probably one of the best in Germany I'd say this season.
Just started looking in to him recently after finding him randomly on youtube and being very impressed. Viewed every video I could find on youtube thinking he was a bit of a youtube-hero but his stats are absolutely world-class.
Has among the highest successful dribbles per game which is what really stands out as well as being VERY productive, basically a goal or assist per game. Saw in the thread about him that his interceptions/tackles were apparently also at a very high level.
I found out from Balu that his team Hoffenheim play a very gung-hoo style though so it is hard to know how he'd handle a more tactically restricted role.
But probably my own favorite player right now of the ones who haven't become popular yet.
His dribbling style is fantastic, he can take on two-three players, he can go on the inside or outside equally well, he has great acceleration - I am very impressed.
Great save from Ter Stegen. He's played quite well. Piszczek has another injury, I think. They showed him walking down the tunnel with someone else.
I'm not watching the game, are they playing 3 at the back now? They brought on Ducksch for him?
Großkreutz as RB. Offensive 4-3-3 now and Gladbach down one player.
I wouldn't be surprised if Brazil call him up as a wildcard type player for the world cup and he excels. He just looks utter class whenever I watch him. He always seems to test the keeper too. Which is probably why he's got a number of goals this season.
Oh? Who was sent off? Hasn't caught up that far yet.
Scolari isn't really known for spontaneous decisions or rating players from smaller clubs in Europe.I wouldn't be surprised if Brazil call him up as a wildcard type player for the world cup and he excels.
