Bundesliga 13/14

Awful keeping for Huntelaar's equaliser there. He's on a very good run though.

Dortmund - Gladbach 0:2

What the feck was Weidenfeller doing there .

Good ol' Dortmund helping struggling teams back on their feet.

This really has developed into a pattern for them over the last couple of seasons.
I like Gladbach, so I'm good this time. Really annoying that they helped Hamburg and Hoffenheim to stay up though

I used to like Dortmund but they've ruined far too many of my accumulators recently and another one today, so they can feck off!

Weidenfeller and Piszczek mercilessly outplayed for the second goal. BVB playing some slow, static, lethargic football. Probably would've looked a bit different if Aubameyang converted his chance instead of hitting the crossbar.

Does anyone want to finish 2nd in Bundesliga?

Maybe Schalke. They could be only one point behind Dortmund after this matchday, have already played Bayern and are playing Dortmund soon. And they will be out of the CL competition and Cup and Hunter is back.

Slow, static? No. Movement is not our problem this game. We have good interchanging between the three offensive midfielder and our pressing as a whole is decent. What we deperatively lacked in this half is accuracy in our final actions. Way too many misplaced passe, which is also credit to Glabbach´s positioning, which is really good today. They were also effective on the counter, which made the difference. Both teams had three clear cut chances. One converts two of them, the other none.

First goal was unlucky in my book. The ball rebounded from Schmelzer exactly in the running path of Herrmann and Raffael never wanted to shoot the ball like that. Second goal was a mistake by Weidenfeller.

Let´s see if there is still anything in it for us. Would be nice to have some players to throw onto the pitch to make a difference, but that is the downside of missing the whole first choice CM and offensive midfield.

Hermann is a very good player. Could be worth a punt for a bigger team in Europe.

My bet 365 stream of Dortmund is annoying the shite out of me. Commentary keeps skipping and repeating.

Firmino scores. This player is probably one of the best in Germany I'd say this season.

Just started looking in to him recently after finding him randomly on youtube and being very impressed. Viewed every video I could find on youtube thinking he was a bit of a youtube-hero but his stats are absolutely world-class.

Has among the highest successful dribbles per game which is what really stands out as well as being VERY productive, basically a goal or assist per game. Saw in the thread about him that his interceptions/tackles were apparently also at a very high level.

I found out from Balu that his team Hoffenheim play a very gung-hoo style though so it is hard to know how he'd handle a more tactically restricted role.

But probably my own favorite player right now of the ones who haven't become popular yet.

His dribbling style is fantastic, he can take on two-three players, he can go on the inside or outside equally well, he has great acceleration - I am very impressed.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brazil call him up as a wildcard type player for the world cup and he excels. He just looks utter class whenever I watch him. He always seems to test the keeper too. Which is probably why he's got a number of goals this season.

Great save from Ter Stegen. He's played quite well. Piszczek has another injury, I think. They showed him walking down the tunnel with someone else.

Firmino will never be called for up for the World Cup.

Nordtveit gets a red card, 20 minutes left for Dortmund to do something.

He has that kind of wow-factor in the dribbling that allows him to dribble straight through people, he can simply go on the outside or inside best he want to.

I think Brazil would look best if they called him up and played him out right with Neymar out left. Hulk out right has been very poor.

I think Neymar and Firmino are the only one who have that sort of flair style around these days. Would love him at United really.

The new kid scores from a corner. Deflection from a 'Gladbach player. I think the scorer's name is Jojic?
It's on. 2-1 BMG

Business as usual. Hoffenheim feck up a 2 goal lead, Stuttgart concedes late after going 1-0 up .

Dortmund goal disallowed. Haha. 88 minutes played. Ter Stegen looks injured, Lewandowski hammered him.

Scolari isn't really known for spontaneous decisions or rating players from smaller clubs in Europe.
