Wow....Sticking the boot into Moyes on Sky

Not surprising given the pundits, and Jeff Stelling has been terrible since at least last season or so when he was ripping de Gea to shreds.

I actually quite like this starting XI. Giggs in the CL will get the space to play. Welbeck and Valencia give us some pace and directness.

90 2-0 to Man Utd
105 3-0 to Man Utd
120 3-1 - Olympiacos go through

That's what I've put money on at work.

Carrick

Valencia ---------- Giggs Rooney Welbeck
Van Persie

Wow, Nev ripping into Moyes by his mild standards. Didn't expect that. The end is nigh, I am sure of that now.

Calls Moyes football boring and saying how we never "die trying" anymore.

Has lack of directness really been our problem. We couldn't have been more direct through deployment of a catapult on either side of the pitch

Carragher speaks a hell of a lot more sense than Neville when it comes to United matters.

Some fair points made.

Carragher actually made a good point there about Old Trafford's width being a hindrance now. Most of our best performances have been in away games, because our default objective isn't just to get it wide, we mix it up a lot more. At home, it's just not the case.

No . Probably the same reason SAF used him for.Experience.
Experience + Giggs

A. Either results in a performance that turns back the clock, fancy backheels, flicks, outrageous passes, dynamism and a decent turn of pace for a 40 year old

B. Or dodging a freekick that may hit his crotch to concede a goal, giving away the ball needlessly in our own half by trying fancy back heels and flicks, players running past him like he is Tom Cleverley's dad.

Oh look everyone, Plugsy made a funny!

Does Valencia have a body odour problem or something?

Hugging the line practicing his 60m sprint and stop while everyone else pretends to play football.

We watching Sky? Look at those scenes from the Barca match 30 years ago. Unbelievable. Certainly gets the juices flowing.

#believe - because it's literally the only hope we have now.

"These days"?

What bollocks. Ferguson regularly put out mediocre lineups too.

It's just a poor squad compared to the rest at the moment. It needs a huge overhaul.

Yeah, we really suffered under Ferguson

Team that strolled the league last year hasn't been beaten on points in two years prior to that who has added £70m plus one of the best kids we've had in many years, suddenly needs "huge overhaul"

..right.

Olympus XI:

Hades
Aether - Apollo - Chronos - Erebos
Dionysus - Poseidon - Ares - Hermes
Zeus -Eros

What, didn't you realise that Ferguson was worth 30 extra points per season? The way he'd levitate the ball into the net was an extraordinary achievement.

Of course, my mistake! :D

I thought the same, I didn't expect him to say our football is dull and that Moyes need to change things quickly. Makes me wonder if his job is actually on the contrary to what moyes said previously.

Isn't there something strange that in the game that may define his career at Unted he selects in midfield a 40 year old ex-winger cum legend rather than the midfield player he managed for several years at Everton and then spent 27 million pounds on? I predict a win tonight but an aggregate loss.
