His level of composure is just staggeringly higher than anyone else we have. Wouldn't have looked out of place playing ahead of Gotze in that Bayern side.
This. The team should be build around them. Let Rooney and RVP fight for the striker position (or sell one of them), let Welbeck,Januzaj and probably Valencia fight for the last attacking position.I think he's our second best player at the moment to Mata. Him and Mata should be automatic starters, every game.
The team needs to be built around them, simple as. Leaves a spot for Januzaj to develop into perfectly as well on the other side.I think he's our second best player at the moment to Mata. Him and Mata should be automatic starters, every game.
We'd be in the champions league next season if Moyes played him from the start of the season instead of taking 9 months to realize he's a top class player.
I've been one of the only people on here defending him consistently with you, just a little more subtle and not writing huge posts about itIf I posted something like that, then I'd be attacked by 4-5 posters
I totally agree, though. Moyes' failure to see Kagawa's talent has quite possibly thrown us out of top 4. It's actually sickening to think that both RVP and Rooney were injured at one stage, without Kagawa featuring. We went for months without RVP and Mata, and Kagawa still barely featured. It just doesn't make any sense.
Under Moyes, Kagawa's playtime and influence has been cut in half(and then some). Look at Kagawa's performances last season, in the CL this season, and in the PL for the last couple of weeks. Then look at Valencia, Young, Welbeck and Januzaj. Would any sensible manager to put all of these players ahead of Kagawa in the pecking order for the PL games? Hell, I think it's crazy to put even one of them ahead of Kagawa, unless he's in the form of his life.
Miles ahead of most of our players technically. Understands how to receive and pass to player in same shirt.

To be fair he did, until Moyes came along...Did anyone notice that little moment when Kagawa kept the ball against 3 Bayern players near the corner area, then played a pass to Valencia who promptly stumbles the ball out against a Kraut's knee? Kagawa heaved his head to the heavens and looked frustrated with the level of technique in our team whereas Valencia was happy to have the throw-in, not an ounce of remorse or disappointment that a continuance of the play in that situation would have created a far more promising situation.
Kagawa must be shocked how little composure most of our players have,he thought he was joining a world class squad full of technical players when he joined Manchester United.
This, surely Moyes must realize players like Kagawa are the way forward? Our best player on the pitch tonight no doubt. If he's being considered for the exit door, I give up.
I just don't see it with him anytime he puts on a United shirt at all
I don't see how he's earned a starting spot (or a space on our best bench if everyone is fit)
Yeah pretty much. He's fluffed his lines when he's gotten to the important parts of the pitch too many times.
Cleverley can start in a midfield 2 as he's capable of winning the ball back and tracking his runners. Kagawa doesn't offer much defensively.
It happened today for his second touch. He miscontrolled it a bit and a player come charging through him and just won the ball. Happens way too often
Well they've all had better seasons than him. (Apart from Nani) Considering Rooney/Jones covers CM and Young, Nani cover the wings what position are we keeping Kagawa free for?
And Young has won us games this year. Kagawa hasn't.
Ashley Young has been much better than him this year.
Young is limited but can certainly give us a goal threat with his balls. There's been four or five games this year where Ashley Young has dramatically effected the game in our favour.
I know it's "in" to love the Bundesliga, but we can all see that the standard in that league is nowhere near the Prem right?
The Premier League is the best in the world. It's competitive all the way through.
Bundesliga teams aren't exactly setting the world alight at the moment. I think it's safe to say the quality of the league over there is lower.
But I think it comes down to a simple fact with Kagawa. If you're shite and ineffective most times you play for my club, I'll generally think you're not good enough.
Moyes is a better manager than HALF the Caf...To be fair to Moyes half the CAF have failed to see what he brings to the table.
Happy to see the thread reflect reality a bit more.
He can be a key player for us with Mata going forward, a joy to watch.
What's with all the praise? Last time I posted in this thread I was attacked.
