There is absolutely no way he could do a job for Spurs.
The same Spurs he regularly finished ahead of (and certainly competed with) in the league on a fraction of the budget?

I've got my doubts, but whether or not Levy wanted Moyes in the past, the point is moot. Moyes is currently untouchable after last season for any team with serious Top 4 aspirations. Why would he turn down Spurs if Levy wanted him? He never did.
Spurs finished ahead of Everton in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Also finished ahead of Moyes United last season. Some regularity your man had. Actually Everton finally managed a higher finish after he left.
It depends on so many things. Injuries, suspensions even. We can compare only when the final table is done.
This season we lost 4 first team players, let's not forget that as well. Moyes last year only added to a championship winning squad.
Arsenal brought in even better player than last year, Chelsea are much better team now and Mourinho had a season under his belt. City are good as always. It's not like this year they haven't added. The only team that looks weakened (so far) is Liverpool, but I expect to buy other players as well.
With all that in mind and if we don't buy no one till the end of the window I'm pretty confident that LvG can snatch the 4th place. It's just the difference a world class manager makes.
I'm not sure why people feel he'd be successful at Newcastle or Tottenham, their fans would not take to his football. West Ham is the obvious team, but aren't their fans tired of fat Sam's football too?
Well if it would killed Moyes right then and there, doubt it would have been Welbeck. Tbh, felt like most of the team gave up on him by that point. Lotta fans as well.Wonder who is this player who gave up in Feb? By the looks of that statement it seems to be a popular one with the fans.. So was it RVP or Hernandez or Welbeck?? Weren't there rumours that Welbeck wanted to leave us..
Couldnt give a flying france where he ends up.
It may have been. It may also have been Giggs.Maybe it was Vidic. Club captain and all. We kind of know he gave up on Moyes anyway...

It could have been any one of 8 or 9 senior players and that just about says everything.
Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you know that every story reported last season was true?It was reported in a few of the fanzines that the players, completely lost it when, he organised a team meeting...And it turned out to a seminar on how to dress for away games.
Now, I know people will say "Awwhhh that's bullshit" etc etc...However, I've yet to come across a story, reported last season, that isn't true!

Remind me what the Ferdinand and Rooney stories were? I'm genuinely asking, not having a go.The Vidic stories turned out to be true
The Ferdinand stories turned out to be true
The Rooney stories turned out to be true.
The Giggs stories are likely to be true.
There is nothing to even suggest any of them are bullshit

Nah. Giggs reportedly started losing it with him after the City game. The one in September
How so?
Coming out after that match when we've just been battered 4-1 by City and letting us know that "there'll be more days like this to come" probably didn't help.
Atleast he wasn't lying, the twat.
The player in question is undoubtedly Giggs if you ask me.
"..would've killed Moyes there and then if it had come out."
Giggs is the only player you could say that about. He's United's darling and the club clearly want him to eventually become manager. Plus, it's no secret he wasn't happy with Moyes before that anyway. February probably would've been the time he'd have totally lost any faith, most people had completely given up in Jan/Feb. The first half of the season was shit but January onwards was an absolute farce.
Not sure....But the City game started it for Giggs. Or so I've read anyways. Not sure if that's true or not.
Probably the whole, sitting with his head in hands, while City spanked us thing that done it ha
Could also be RvP, he practically bailed on the season to stay fit for the world cup once he recognized that Moyes was off his rocker and he's supposed to be the club's star player.
Wasn't the story that Moyes had a go at the players after the 4-1 saying something like ''see i told you City played long balls to Dzeko all day, thats how you win at this level'', apparently the players didn't want to play this way beforehand and were confused by Moyes comments as they didn't think City had played direct.
As the story goes a group of players led by Giggs asked Steve Round the next day for him and Moyes to have a look at the game again, Round came back later that day and said they had played it long only 3 times and they were in fact wrong. Or something along those lines.
Well thats the story i read, can't remember where on why Giggs and a few others started to lose faith in Moyes as far back as september. Could be bullshit who knows.
